Right at the beginning, I got a catchy tune stuck in my head. But now, onto the scent :)

Many associate this fragrance with coconut and therefore detect a coconut note, but that's not the case for me. I can understand where the thought comes from, and the scent is indeed beautifully milky, creamy, and rich, but the coconut summer feeling from the beach is missing.

The fragrance comes in a high-quality outer packaging in a drawstring pouch. Just from the pictures seen online, I found the bottle and the cap to look really cheap - but to my surprise, it is very heavy and everything is made with high quality. Just to clarify: Even though I didn't pay €250, this fragrance is definitely worth it for me.

The fragrance brings me a lot of joy through its contrasts. In terms of scent character, it is so delicate, lactonic, and sweet - but just from its presence and sillage, it could overshadow quite a few rose-oud combinations. I don't detect a very changing scent progression, but I can smell myself the entire day long - without it bothering me or my surroundings or giving me a headache. Mainly, I get milk, a very gentle tuberose far from chewing gum, subtle incense that can be sensed in the background, and a top-notch vanilla-tonka combo.

I see Blanche Bête in all seasons and for all occasions, to be honest. Absolute signature potential! I've already received quite a few compliments. With this, I feel secure, snuggled, feminine, delicate, and well-groomed. Despite its gourmand nature, it never becomes too edible on me - I often can't handle that. It retains a noble, perfumey character. For me, one of the best purchases of 2023.

P.S.: If you own Amouage Guidance, you should layer the two. In low doses, you can always catch a whiff of both fragrances, and they complement each other beautifully. Blanche Bête slightly tones down the Guidance in its way, and you float in a creamy incense cloud.

Yesterday, I visited my trusted niche perfumery with a friend. We sniffed our way through everything and saw a customer take this fragrance to the checkout. I had somehow always walked past Trussardi. But this piqued our curiosity: it must be good if the man chose this one out of all the fragrances.

Sprayed on the back of my hand, I was head over heels in love from second one. That was a total wow moment! But first, let’s talk about the details. The bottle appears high-quality and heavy, the spray head is premium, and you get 100ml for a retail price of €170.

The scent starts fruity-fresh with an apple note. I’m usually quite sensitive to apple, as it can quickly smell very synthetic and give me headaches. That’s not the case here, even though I perceive it for a bit longer than just 5 minutes. Honey (not from the supermarket, but fresh from the beekeeper) and white flowers join in. I don’t get any rose.

At the same time, the scent becomes quite creamy for me, almost lactonic. I suspect that Heliotropin is responsible for this. But I completely share the association of vanilla-milk-almond-bath. I really feel the need to immerse myself in it; it smells so good to my nose. Tonka and musk round it off even more. For me, the scent leans very feminine, but that doesn’t exclude the possibility that it can also be very appealing on a man!

So here I am in the perfumery, unable to take my nose off my wrist. This is exactly my kind of scent. I open Parfumo in the store and check out the fragrance's page. And lo and behold, created by my favorite perfumer Quentin Bisch. I don’t know what this man puts in his fragrances, but I love them all to bits. And the funny thing is, I always notice it only afterward. I love the Delinas, Good Girl Blush, Guidance, and now this one - they are all super feminine and have that certain something.

Longevity and sillage are really decent! Not a beast, but noticeable. And that made the buying decision clear. It moved in yesterday, and I’m super excited to indulge in it from now on.

Wearable all year round, you can interpret it however you like. In autumn/winter, a nice hot milk with honey; in spring/summer, a creamy, milky lotion with a honey scent.

…that would be me. Although the fragrance has been hyped for several summers across various channels, I never got around to wanting to test it. Now that the hype wave is somewhat subsiding and it’s summer, I thought: why not give it a sniff!

What can I say, I really find the scent quite wonderful. At first, I get the pistachio-almond combo, it smells like a delicious nut ice cream. Then, very light floral notes join in, but they remain in the background. Salted caramel and vanilla provide that summery feeling. I think you can wear Cheirosa 62 because of its gourmand notes both in the summer heat and in the winter as a soul warmer and cuddle scent. But for me, it’s best on warm skin in the sun.

Absolutely addictive for me and the hype is justified, so I immediately got the large bottle. It will soon be layered with "Vanilla | 28 | Kayali", Royal Gold Eau de Parfum, and other vanilla candidates. But I also have wild layering combos swirling in my head.

I find the longevity and sillage to be fine. Not better than other body sprays, but also not super fleeting. In warm weather, I can still perceive the scent for several hours. I will decant it into small spray bottles for the beach. A great, sweet gourmand that will often be used for the price! And already indispensable ️

Letting myself be influenced by the perfume TikTok hype, I ordered Yara blindly. I generally like Lattafa fragrances quite a bit, so I thought it was worth the risk at this price.

The bottle really appears very high-quality and heavy. The spray head is fine. Since I own several pink and playful bottles, it fits perfectly on the shelf and looks great.

At first, I also get the Campino strawberry-cream-candy association. But it quickly transforms into a fluffy, cozy scent. And my goodness, I am in love. For me, it embodies delicate femininity in a bottle.

Yara gives me the same feeling of happiness as Signature Eau de Parfum does, which is also one of my absolute favorites. This creamy, powdery, and feminine scent. I recently layered these fragrances together and was in absolute fragrance heaven.

If you like scents like Signature, Soleil Blanc, Cheirosa 62, etc., which exude a bit of sultry tropical climate (in a good way) and lean slightly gourmand while being a touch sweeter and more girlish, then I think you can safely blind buy Yara! I need it forever in my collection, even if it might suit the younger crowd a bit more. And regarding longevity & sillage: I just spray 2x more and apply lotion beforehand, then it lasts me a good 6 hours.

Yes, I get that association too. Bitter almond, baking cocoa, a hint of cinnamon spice, and vanilla. All of this is dusted with powdered sugar… uh, no, I mean baby powder :)

I have a love-hate relationship with Muschio Bianco; the hairspray pinches my nose too much. With this one, it's somewhat similar yet different. Different because there's no hairspray bothering me here. It doesn’t smell synthetic at all, rather like authentic cookie dough with a slight baking aroma! However, in my everyday life, I rarely find the opportunity to want to smell like this. When I reach for it, it's only on cold days when I'm at home and staying in. I could never imagine wearing it outside of winter.

The longevity on my skin is almost 24 hours; it’s incredibly dense, cozy, and still potent. I can still smell it clearly. The sillage is strong for the first 5-6 hours for me.

We don't need to talk about the bottle; it’s truly not a sight for sore eyes and tends to hide at the back of my cabinet. One might think there's nothing inside due to its light weight. So I can only confirm the association with a deodorant bottle :D

Byzantium is enveloping, warm, slightly oriental, gourmand. It doesn’t smell expensive at all.

Considering the low price of 6-7€, I think you can't go wrong here if you know what you're getting into and occasionally want to run around like a walking cookie dough like I do :)
