Not what you would expect - still a beautiful fragrance
Looking at the fragrance pyramid, I was expecting a proper crusher à la Marc Gebauer - which is what the name suggests. In fact, however, "Killer Instinct | Marc Gebauer" is less of a murder hunt with an axe, but is instead a pleasant and unobtrusive office and everyday fragrance!

Marc's latest creation starts off green-citrusy with a strong lavender note. It is very powdery, green and herbaceous right from the start. You will look in vain for currant, as you would expect from an "Aventus | Creed". It is hidden among the "green" nuances and, in combination with cypriol, forms the general green fragrance accord.
In the drydown, various woods join in - I don't notice oud, at least not in the foreground, but a creamy sandalwood. The woods are underpinned by a pleasantly warm and skin-like musk.
The lavender is still very noticeable throughout the fragrance - the scent remains powdery, woody and very pleasant on the skin.

I can't quite confirm the cautious reviews - I really like the fragrance and have worn it in the office and in everyday life so far.
Longevity could be better - Perceptible for about 5 hours for me, then only close to the skin.

In my "nose", the fragrance is more for men, and tends to be more for the seasoned, experienced man - less for younger people...

The price is a house number - you should definitely test it extensively beforehand!
For a little less, it could certainly move into my collection!

Great musk - unfortunately too weak on the chest
I ordered the sample set from Pernoire out of pure interest and initially felt no real interest in any of the fragrances.

At some point I took a closer look at "Vitias | pernoire" and put it "under my nose".
It starts citrusy, green and slightly aquatic. I also perceive a peppery note very well.
But it was mainly the pleasant green-citrusy herbaceousness (angelica root?) in combination with a very creamy musk that made the fragrance super interesting and cuddly.

The sample was so butz used up and the full bottle had to come!

Ordered, waited impatiently, unpacked and sprayed on - what's going on now?

The fragrance profile and fragrance progression are identical to the sample, but what's wrong with the durability?
I use around 10 sprays and after 2 hours I hardly notice the fragrance on myself. At most, the clothes retain the creamy musk a little longer, but there is absolutely no projection or sillage. Well, what can help - we take more sprays... In the meantime I'm at 15-20 sprays but even then the fun is gone super fast and that although we have an extrait here!

I really enjoyed wearing the "Vitias | pernoire", but I definitely wouldn't buy it again for €245. I have since switched to the "Basso | Sospiro" and am very happy with the longevity and sillage with a similar fragrance profile (unfortunately without the creamy mousse...).

You can wear Vitias very well on warm/warm days.
For me, it often went with me to the office or sometimes to sports.
Test recommendation yes, purchase at the price no!

Beautiful piece - The softest of the raspberry-leather fragrances
So far, I've been quite cautious with this scent.

"Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton" - Far too strong, smoky and penetrating

"Tuscan Leather (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" - Too musty for me personally

"Sapphire Collection - London | Widian / AJ Arabia" - Better but also too smoky and not sweet enough

Well and with "Sillage | Kinetic Perfumes" my taste was finally met!!!
A really great and inviting combination of raspberry-leather-saffron-incense, very soft and sweet in the drydown and lasts ultra long on the skin and clothes!
The oud is not musty or penetrating and does its job as a base ingredient very well and is also underpinned by a pleasant vanilla.

The only drawback - perhaps a little too sweet in the drydown! :-)
Other people might notice it negatively, but taste is subjective!

Carrot seeds as a hidden champion!
I became aware of this fragrance through Marc Gebauer and took part in a sharing without any great expectations.

Rarely have I been so surprised by a sample - the fragrance starts super fresh, citrusy and spicy. I also notice the aforementioned plastic/hospital vibes, but I don't find them annoying at all!
On the other hand, the saffron note, which I like in fragrances like "Trajan | Electimuss" "Kropp Och Själ | Pana Dora" or "Join The Club - Torino22 | XerJoff" is not or hardly perceptible!
I also notice a really cool leather accord - it's not listed in the fragrance notes, but I suspect that the patchouli and perhaps also the carrot seeds play a part here. If you ask me, carrot seeds are somehow the hidden champion among the fragrance notes!

Personally, comparisons with other, well-known fragrances always help me a lot!
I recognize the following in the DNA:
- "Shooting Stars - Uden | XerJoff"
Definitely the fresh opening, the citrus and the vanilla in the drydown.

- "Shooting Stars - Kobe | XerJoff"
The "dirty", slightly earthy and leathery with persistent citrus and freshness - I love it!

- "1 Million (Eau de Toilette) | Paco Rabanne"
Yep, one million. But turned up to a maximum of 12 and much, much more sophisticated and finely tuned.

- "Layton | Parfums de Marly"
The spice somehow - but every comparison limps somewhere.

In conclusion - Really great allrounder, in my opinion wearable at any time of the year and has a generic scent progression. I like it very much and will certainly move in with me soon!

My Odyssey - F*cking Fabulous!
This fragrance and I - We've had a long journey with ups and downs. Starting with a blind buy of a fragrance twin and a "well, it's not that great now", followed by a true obsession after I received a fragrance strip in a roundabout way. However, the fragrance strip was a mixture of "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford", "Tuscan Leather (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" and "Fucking Fabulous / Fabulous (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" (The envelope contained three strips of the aforementioned fragrances. The notes mixed accordingly...). The disappointment was somehow quite big when I was able to spray the fragrance "pure" for the first time in KaDeWe - and despite this, I was still impressed by this fragrance and bought it second-hand.

I love this fragrance, this light leather, this bitter almond-lavender combination, a spicy vanilla - somehow it also has a somewhat "metallic" and animalic effect (actually two opposing associations).
You can wear it perfectly to go out and definitely stand out!
But I've also received positive feedback in the office, so it works too!
I actually only know the "Pegasus | Parfums de Marly" as an alternative.
Longevity is really good, I notice the fragrance on myself and on my clothes for a long time.
The sillage could be better, but it doesn't have to be - the fragrance can also be seductive simply by being perceptible close to the skin.

But perhaps "Fucking Fabulous / Fabulous (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" is more suitable for colder days or spring... In summer it might be a bit "sticky" on the skin.

The price is outrageous (TF just), but luckily there are ways to get it used - then it works!

Simply a great fragrance, a really special DNA and has a very special place in my collection!
