I'm sitting in the Adlon drinking coffee
The Adlon Kempinski in Berlin is almost a landmark of the capital and is certainly familiar to most people. About 100 meters away from the Brandenburg Gate is the prestigious noble hotel from which Michael Jackson stretched his child out of the window to the press and thus to the front pages of the whole world.
When you arrive at the entrance, the doorman always greets you with a smile on his face. Once you pass him, you enter the grand lobby, which is decorated with old luxurious armchairs and sofas and in the middle of which stands a beautiful baroque-style fountain with a stained glass dome above it. This beautiful lobby literally invites you to linger.
As soon as you sit down, the friendly waitress hands you a menu with the infamous "Adlon Döner" and the so-called "Adlon coffee". This is a kind of latte macchiato with almond syrup and tonka bean flavor, which is always served with a small, delicious cake that you can order for free on request. And this is where the "Coffee Addict | Theodoros Kalotinis" comes into play, because in my eyes it is the olfactory representation of the coffee for which I like to make a detour to the infamous hotel lobby every now and then.
So the fragrance is for coffee lovers who don't mind novel, sweeter coffee creations and who prefer to order a latte macchiato or cappuccino rather than a black filter coffee or double espresso. However, despite the sweet nuances, it remains true to its roots and remains an authentic coffee fragrance throughout, but with a sweet, caramel-like background.
Longevity and projection are really brute, even with 2-3 sprays there are often still inquiries even after several hours about what smells so delicious like coffee, so please dose carefully :)
For a comparatively small price, you get a really great coffee fragrance that can be a loyal companion in fall and winter and that you should definitely try in my opinion!
