Plump and sweet
I really wanted to try this fragrance because I have the Wanted by Night and I like it very much (because of its fruitiness, which is unique). The others in the Wanted range are similar. What's more, Jan (Eau de Fragrance) has been celebrating the fragrance on YouTube almost every day since it came out and says he can't understand the negative reactions (some of which are due to niche expectations and demands), which made me curious.
Immediately after spraying it on, however, I have to say (sorry Jan) that comments like "far too sweet" are absolutely right. The fragrance has no fruitiness at all like the others in the series, I can't perceive any complexity or depth either, just penetrating and far too strong sweetness. This may suit the tastes of some teenagers, but they can easily get this kind of fragrance and quality much cheaper. And if I'm a teenager and have little money, I buy a Ck One or the excellent Cool Water or the Jil Sunder Sun, you get something very decent for very little money!
My association with this fragrance is as follows: I'm standing in a crowded swimming pool on the concrete floor and it's terribly hot. I see an ice cream stall with these bright yellow and bright red boxes with the picksweet crushed ice juice inside, which is off-putting from the color alone. There's now a third variety, which is neon yellow/green, and someone has spilled some of it - that's exactly the smell that comes to mind when I smell this test strip.

From ugly duckling to swan
The drydown is absolutely amazing, a wonderful mixture of smoke and lemony freshness, smells very masculine. Very long lasting, 10/10 points.
But: the opening is unfortunately artificially citrusy and comes across as very artificial and intrusive, the scent smells like a strong lemon cleanser. This evaporates over time, but lasts up to 2 hours, which you have to "hold out", so to speak. So unfortunately I rarely use it and only when I really want it to be extremely citrusy.
Update: I have now sold the EdT and bought the limited edition perfume, which has a slightly milder and rounder opening. Otherwise practically identical.

The little brother
The little brother of Armani Eau de Nuit Oud: the opening is also beautifully spicy and masculine - wonderfully stimulating and noble, although it lacks a little of the depth and elegance of EdN Oud, which has more expression/character and is a touch "dirtier", which I love about it
Develops a warm heart/base note, which is only perceptible very close to the skin. You almost have to press your nose to the spray... The drydown of the fragrance is again like a light version of the oud variant, which develops more warmly/beautifully.
Overall, a fragrance with a wonderfully intense opening and disappointing H/S, which severely limits its possible uses.
You can wear it at any time of year and anywhere - but it is only suitable for everyday use if you fill it into a mini bottle and spray it constantly.

First of all: I don't know the hyped Profumo, but only the EdT, which was too light and citrusy for me. The Profondo didn't suit my taste either.
But I think the perfume is perfect: just the right mix of aquatic freshness and slightly darker depth, which makes the perfume high quality. Primarily suitable for spring and summer, but I see no reason why it shouldn't go in fall/winter.
The bottle is very beautiful, I love color gradients (see Versace Oud Noir). Unfortunately, I got a batch of 2023 without the magnetic cap, so I only ever put it on loosely so as not to lift the spray head off the bottle.

I smelled it at the gym with the trainer, asked about it and bought it myself straight away. (At first, unfortunately, I mistakenly bought the EdT, which I don't like at all, much too creamy and, above all, lacking that certain something that stands out so powerfully and characteristically from the EdP.)

But it has more than that, namely that certain something, so it doesn't smell cheap or monotonous. I've already received a few compliments - but my wife doesn't like it at all, it's too dominant or overpowering for her. If you don't want the whole room to smell like you, you should stay away from it. But if you are looking for a perfume that can still be clearly smelled on long working days and afterwards, you have found an extremely reliable fragrance here.
