An old new acquaintance
I stumbled upon Bloom Intense by chance in the perfume shop... The shelves at Gucci are currently very colorful and filled with flowers due to the new flankers... in contrast, the black bottle - which looks almost minimalist in this line - caught my eye.

When sprayed, it starts with a beautiful and soft orange blossom - nice, but nothing special, I thought. Then I somehow forgot about it while shopping.

At home, then hmmm... what is this?! And why does it seem familiar? It must be something older... Vintage vibes? A very, very noble floral scent wafted into my nose. Warm woods joined in... it felt so familiar. It seems so much more interesting than the bottle suggests, lush and opulent... but not overwhelming.

A few days later, I was struck by a bolt of realization... I know where the association comes from. It is owed to the Queen of the Night, which we already know from the old version of Dior Addict (2012) Eau de Parfum. It is not a 1 to 1 copy, nor an alternative... but the similarity is definitely there. This is where the vintage touch became clear to me.

A very, very noble and beautiful scent that still feels modern. It was still easily recognizable on the jacket from the day before. This bottle had to be mine... I really can't help it...

My Sweet Soul Balm
This fragrance is truly the one for me. It has accompanied me since my childhood (even though I obviously didn't wear it back then) and since then I have been enchanted by it.

In the past, it was unreachably expensive for me as a teenager, but I always had some kind of dupe of it in my possession. Nowadays, the original lives with me at home, and I must confess... it was a strange feeling. Back then, it was sinfully expensive for me, and now I could simply indulge in it without much thought. How surreal, as it is not that expensive anymore, yet this was stored in my mind for a long time.

The scent is a dreamy vanilla with almond. A sweet fruity touch from the apricot and plum. Spices and tuberose envelop you in a warm and heavy aura. It is more loud than subtle... but to be honest, it is simply a wonderful interplay of all its components. For me, it is not the individual notes but the entire fragrance concept that stands out.

I recognize it (like so many) immediately, and it brings a smile to my face every time. The warm fragrance cloud is just a total feel-good scent for me. Although some find it too much, it has the exact opposite effect on me - it manages to completely calm me down.

Even though it has been "overworn" by many, I use it regularly. On one hand, you don't smell it that often anymore, and in my eyes, it is simply a timeless classic.

After a tiring day, I love to wear it to cuddle up with it. For me, it is an absolute feel-good fragrance that I never want to miss again.

Everyday Goddess in a Velvet Dress
Goddess - a very beautiful everyday fragrance that suits every situation.

Goddess is not a lady in a pompous gown for me - she definitely doesn't overdo it.
She has something very warm and comforting. Her dress of vanilla and cocoa hugs softly. Lavender blossoms are woven into her hair.

You have to like lavender, although I perceive the lavender here as much softer than, for example, in Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense.

The vanilla is very sweet - but for me not edible - and takes away the herbaceousness of the lavender.

Overall, it is a rather soft scent that feels very cuddly and velvety to me. I only perceive the ginger very lightly - had I not seen it in the notes, I probably wouldn't have noticed it.

In the end, the cocoa actually wins for me here; the vanilla becomes a lovely chocolate vanilla. But again, not really edible. I would rather describe the cocoa as cocoa butter - not because it becomes buttery, but because it is more of a less sweet note - unsweetened. However, the vanilla keeps it sweet, but does not overpower. Here, the lavender maintains the balance.

I would describe it as a non-edible gourmand.
For me, a very successful composition of sweet and bitter.

Strawberry Cream Candy
If you like it sugary sweet, this is the right choice.
Fruity strawberries with cream and a good splash of vanilla syrup.
It reminds me a lot of Campino strawberry candies.

Additionally, it also reminds me of "Angels Kiss | Ariana Grande," but I definitely prefer Yara. Angels Kiss has a very balsamic note that bothered me a lot. In Yara Candy, it's just fluffy sweet strawberry and cream. Much more pleasant for me.

I can actually understand the shower gel association, but it’s a really nice shower gel, fruity and warm but not soapy.

Definitely worth a try for anyone who enjoys sweet scents.

Help, Willy Wonka has kidnapped me!
I became aware of this fragrance through the forum. Smells like Nutella?! Alright - I HAVE to test it.

Thanks to a lovely perfumer, I managed to get a decant.

The first whiff from the spray head nearly knocked me over. No Nutella... the darkest, deepest, and loudest dark chocolate I have ever smelled.

Cautiously, I sprayed a bit on my wrist and wow - this is intense. I couldn't even tell what was happening to me in the first few minutes. Full-on dark chocolate. Absolutely high-quality chocolate as if I had fallen into a mixing bowl at Lindt, or had been kidnapped by Willy Wonka and turned into a chocolate sculpture.

After half an hour, it calms down a bit, the roasted aromas come out, probably the declared toast here. I definitely understand what is meant by that.

The Nutella (please choose which option fits you) comes out a little more as a small hazelnut appears in the chocolate. But it never becomes fully Nutella for me even later on. Still, a very rounded scent, soft, and at the same time, I get this bitter note of chocolate.

I have to say, this fragrance was an experience for me. I never expected that I would find it too gourmand so quickly. Don't get me wrong, it is truly a great scent with top longevity. Personally, however, it is just too edible for me. So, if you like to find yourself a little biteable, this could be the fragrance for you.
