In Love
I really like perfumes with white flowers. Jasmine and tuberose are my favorite. Still, the Bloom line never once convinced me to buy one. It lacked conviction. I therefore had few expectations of the new Bloom 'Intense'. Mainly because of the patchouli and spices added to the notes.
But I couldn't have been more wrong.
The white flowers, especially tuberose and jasmine, open the fragrance in a soft and sweet way. They smell so realistic. I think the sweetness comes from the coconut. Soon the patchouli joins the fragrance. Where I normally hate patchouli it is now beautiful. It makes the tuberose woodier and that in combination with the coconut is great. Somewhere the ginger buzzes around the flowers. The smell doesn't change anymore. It gets softer and softer, after which it slowly goes out like a candle.
Kudos to Gucci for this flanker. Gucci Bloom 2.0
A golden move to add coconut and make the patchouli more dominant.

An old new acquaintance
I became aware of Bloom Intense by chance in the perfumery...The shelves at Gucci are currently very colorful and covered with flowers due to the new flankers...in contrast to this, the black bottle - which looks almost minimalist in this series - caught my eye.

Sprayed, it starts with a beautiful and soft orange blossom - nice, but nothing special I thought. After that, I somehow forgot about it while shopping.

At home then hmmm...what is that? And where does it look familiar? It must be something older...vintage vibes? A very, very classy floral scent came to my nose. Warm woods join it...it seemed so familiar. It seems so much more interesting than the bottle suggests, lush and opulent...but not overwhelming.

A few days later, I was struck by a flash of realization... i know where the association of the familiar comes from. It is due to the Queen of the Night and we already know it from the old version of Dior Addict (2012) Eau de Parfum. It is not a 1 to 1 copy, or even an alternative...but the similarity is there. This also explains the vintage feel for me.

A very, very elegant and beautiful fragrance that still looks modern. It was still easily recognizable on the jacket from the day before. So this bottle had to be...I really can't help it...

Only vintage is more beautiful!
Like vintage vibes?
Like expensive cream?
Really floral, like a dream from Provence?

Actually, there should be a comment here about the normal Bloom, which embodies true beauty through the Rangumschlinger, the neroli and the tuberose, but unfortunately also fierce stuffiness.

However, when I tested the Intense, I had to admit that I was holding a real candidate for purchase in my hands.

The beauty is the high quality of the natural ingredients. There are no perceptible synthetics at all.

And the floral fragrance is so beautiful that I almost sink into it like a cloud.

It is lush without being suffocating
It is cultivated without being banal for a second
It is interesting, even without the keyboard of individually perceptible components.

Well, the sillage is not so mega strong, but enough to have a pick-me-up for cold gray days at your side every day!

Vintage creamy!
Vintage-floral!
Vintage-beautiful!

Absolute test recommendation!

Compared to the original, this is more full-bodied, more 'mature', more evening-wear, less carefree, less Bloom. Still nice, though
