Timeless Elegance
Acqua di Parma's Colonia Essenza is a fragrance that captivates from the first spritz, taking you on a journey through its delightful and well-rounded top notes that surprisingly linger until the dry-down. This exceptional longevity of the citrus notes is unexpected.

The scent opens with a burst of invigorating freshness, where the white floral component intermittently emerges, only to blend seamlessly into a symphony of various notes, creating a sensation of coolness and cleanliness. The interplay between the floral and the other ingredients adds depth and complexity, ensuring that Colonia Essenza remains captivating and ever-evolving on the skin.

The creator of this fragrance has successfully taken the best elements of the original Colonia and brought them into the present day. While honoring its classic roots, the fragrance exudes a contemporary allure that appeals to individuals of all ages. Whether you're a mature gentleman or someone with a youthful spirit, Colonia Essenza effortlessly adapts to your persona, making it a versatile scent for all.

Colonia Essenza exudes an undeniable air of sophistication and class. Despite its classic nature, it never feels outdated. The combination of timeless elegance and modern sensibilities makes it a fragrance that can easily transition from formal occasions to casual settings, always leaving a lasting impression.

In conclusion, Acqua di Parma's Colonia Essenza is an outstanding creation that deserves high praise. Its pleasantly long-lasting performance, the delicate interplay of notes, and the skillful blending of the classic and contemporary elements make it a fragrance to be recommended without hesitation. If you're in search of a scent that embodies refinement, freshness, and versatility, look no further than Colonia Essenza.

A pin scratching a mint vinyl record
You or Someone Like You by Etat libre d'Orange is a fragrance that offers an intriguing blend of notes, with some positive aspects and some less convincing ones. While the overall scent is pleasant, there is an element in the base that has an indescribable unpleasantness, likely attributed to a chemical undertone.
One of the distinctive features of this fragrance is the pleasant note of mint that dominates the composition. The mint releases a feeling of freshness and liveliness, creating a summery and light atmosphere. It is a welcome addition, especially on hot days, as it adds a refreshing and dynamic touch to the overall fragrance.
However, despite the promising start, the unpleasant undertone in the base of the perfume may be disappointing for some. This chemical scent, which may stem from certain synthetic ingredients, occasionally makes itself known during the fragrance's development and can be perceived as disturbing or artificial.
Despite this drawback, You or Someone Like You by Etat libre d'Orange is still a fragrance worth considering, especially for those who appreciate a predominant mint note. Its unique freshness may be an interesting choice for summer or for those seeking a vibrant and vivid scent.

A nice coniferous aromatic fragrance
I love the scent of coniferous forest but I am ever terrified when this is reproduced in a perfume because the risk to have another '70/80s shower gel is just around the corner.
Winter Nights fortunately spares me this torture. The balsamic wood scent is well balanced with the light smokiness in it which helps the scent to stay pleasant and close to the reality.
The musk and the lavender then evoke a cold and dry weather, a crispy air all around you.
It is a well done fragrance even if not so versatile with a good performance.
I ventured in an overseas blind-buy but I didn't regret it.

A wolf keeping watch the sweetness
I got here after having tried different other amber accord fragrances. I was looking for something not too sweet where the vanilla was not a pudding.
When I sprayed Ambre Loup for the first time I was completely struck and I started to continuously put my nose close to my skin to get this beautiful accord.
Spices and balsamic notes introduced this fragrances starting tickling my nose. Then a dirty woody scent appeared on the scene joining the company. Finally the sweetest part begun to open but incredibly warmed my heart without giving me a headache.
The wolf hidden in this juice guards the sweet side of the amber accord growling to send it back when it become too much prominent.
This scent will stay on your skin longtime making you addicted.
This is my perfect amber accord, classy, a bit dirty and why not sexy and warm but especially not cloying.

A classy signature
I like many creation of MFK because I cherish the wise balance among different scent notes. The main criticism is that they are not so peculiar and so "nichy" as expected and their big price is not justified.
I fell in love with Amyris (the EDT version) as soon as I sprayed it for the first time. I can't do withouth smelling my wrist continuously. But I got a discordant note something metallic and wrong. I was about to give it up and to tell myself that Amyris was not a perfume for me, then I tried the extract version and that magic balance came out!
In this fragrance vanilla, tonka and the amyris dance together without go sweet (incredible to say!). No ones overcomes the others and the powdery of the iris gives a touch of freshness that make this perfume wearable in every situation.
Maybe there will be some other designer fragrances like this one (maybe) but I still like this for the magic work made and the long lasting scent.
This is not a loud scent, it is a classy signature.
