A Fragrance Journey to the Time of the Pharaohs: The New Eau de Parfum Queen of the Night by the Merchant of Venice

A Fragrance Journey to the Time of the Pharaohs: The New Eau de Parfum "Queen of the Night" by the Merchant of Venice

With its new unisex fragrance "Queen of the Night", the Italian luxury perfume brand olfactorily brings to life the splendor and opulence of the Pharaonic Age.

The Merchant of Venice takes you back to the time when pharaohs lived in palaces and exuded opulence in every aspect of their lives.

The journey begins with a spicy-floral prelude, merging the scent of blue lotus, saffron and cinnamon. This combination is said to recall the mystical bazaars of the ancient world. In the heart, amber exudes a profound warmth that is accompanied by the intense and balsamic essence of kyphi. A spicy frankincense note completes the sensual heart. Finally, warm notes of myrrh, sandalwood and tonka bean give the composition its depth.

The perfume was created in collaboration with London department store Harrods.

The Merchant of Venice

When creating the fragrance line "The Merchant of Venice", the Vidal family had a vision: to create a fragrance line that embodies the soul and tradition of Venice.

It all began in 1900, when Angelo Vidal founded Vidal Profumi in Palazzo Mocenigo - a perfume workshop specializing in soaps, spices and colonial goods from Asia. This move laid the foundation for today's perfume house, which is run by the third and fourth generations of the Vidal family. The luxury label's fragrances are inspired by the history of the Mude, a historic trade route that once ran as far as Armenia, Cyprus, Africa and Asia. This connection to exotic destinations is also reflected in the compositions, which often have a maritime character. They are created from rare plants and oriental spices that evoke the faraway places along these sea routes. The first eau de parfum, "Byzantium Saffron", was launched 10 years ago.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
