An Ode to Eternal Love: The New Limited Edition Fragrance Duo From Kayali

Kayali reveals the feminine scent "The Wedding Silk Santal | 36" and the masculine scent "The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35", characterized by the creamy, warm essence of sandalwood.

Timeless when worn alone, but amplified when worn together, these fragrances are made to be shared and celebrate love in all its forms.

The Wedding Silk Santal | 36

"The Wedding Silk Santal | 36" unfolds with a sparkling champagne note, fruity blackcurrant and silky white freesia in the top note. The heart is dominated by the sweetness of praline, nectarine and the floral nuances of jasmine, orange blossom and Damask rose. Finally, sugared musk, oakmoss, amberwood, vanilla absolute and creamy sandalwood envelop the fragrance with an enticing creamy woody note.

The masculine counterpart "The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35" opens with soft jasmine and an aromatic tea nuance, followed by a warm heart of white musk and cedar. The composition finally finds its conclusion in a creamy woody base of benzoin and sandalwood.

Created by perfumers Gabriela Chelariu and Fabrice Pellegrin, the fragrances are part of Kayali's "The Wedding" collection. The new fragrance range is inspired by the romantic wedding of Mona Kattan, the label's founder, and her husband Hassan in February 2022. The perfumes are named after Mona's silk dress and Hassan's velvet suit, which they wore on their wedding day.

The Wedding Silk Santal | 36 and The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 were inspired by and associated with the power of creamy sandalwood. Also known as Santal, this main note forms the basis for each fragrance while glorifying the unique blend of decadent ingredients in each bottle.

Huda Kattan and her sister Mona founded the fragrance label Kayali, whose name means "my imagination" in Arabic. The story began on Instagram in 2010, when Huda Kattan used her blog to inspire her readers with information from the world of cosmetics and fragrances. With her authentic style, she quickly gained a large following of over 25 million followers. Encouraged by these, the talented make-up artist soon wanted to create her own perfumes. In 2018, the time had finally come: the first four fragrances of the Kayali label were launched.

The new fragrances will be available in 50 ml and 100 ml bottle sizes from June 29, 2023.
