Fresh from the drugstore
That's how you can describe the fragrance. It really surprised me, the start is incredibly fresh - citrusy - fruity. A masculine perfume with a certain tart character. Really well executed.
I got it last Christmas from my mother-in-law and had almost forgotten about it among the many other bottles.
A few weeks ago, I simply took it to work to wear it there. The temperatures were warm and it was just perfect there.
It refreshes you really well, I still notice an ambroxan note that makes it nice and slightly aquatic + the light lavender rounds it off well.
Sure...it remains and is a cheap drugstore perfume, which now no one from the stool skin, I do not expect that. Nevertheless, it is good even if the sillage and durability are really borderline. After 2 hours you don't notice the fragrance anymore, even if you sprayed it 10 - 15 times beforehand.
Tip for the makers and producers....Make a good EDP of it that costs twice as much and lasts 5-7 hours. You would get more attention...because the perfume is really good.

One Summer - One hour
Unfortunately, I have to start like this when it comes to durability and sillage, but more on that later.
Like all CK One Summers I know, this one from 2018 is really good. Not my favorite from the range but also very refreshing and invigorating.
The start is synthetically fresh and comes across like a lime juice. The slight sweetness probably comes from the guava, but I don't notice it. The perfume doesn't have a gradient, but I don't think that's a bad thing. There is a woody undertone mixed in and that's it.
Unfortunately, the longevity and sillage are at the lowest level and not really good. After 2 hours, the perfume is completely gone and you can only smell it lightly on your clothes. You have to top up immediately.
Nevertheless, I find it quite okay in terms of price / performance ratio.
A fresh, light designer fragrance for little money and good to wear in between.

Small fragrance pyramid - big effect
The first time I smelled Burberry Goddess was a while ago, but I liked it there and then.
Now I had a sample of
Goddess Parfum. As I usually review or describe mostly masculine or unisex perfumes, I just wanted to try a declared feminine perfume again.
And what can I say...this is an absolute hit in my eyes. I haven't smelled such a good designer fragrance for women in a long time.
Even if the fragrance pyramid is short, it's really something. This start of light, sweet raspberry with this incredibly beautiful lavender, which comes across so naturally and authentically, grabbed me straight away. There is also this wonderfully powdery vanilla note, which joins the lavender shortly afterwards.
And don't worry about the suede, I think most women are concerned that it is/will be too masculine. That's exactly what it is not to my nose. The suede accord probably only adds a certain spice here, because it is only slightly perceptible.
A really great perfume for the evening or for going out / dating. In addition, it is wearable in every season, maybe not now in midsummer but otherwise actually always.
For me an absolutely successful new release from Goddess. Not too sweet, not synthetic, not overloaded. All the chords play together fantastically.
And here we are back at the beginning.... small fragrance pyramid - big effect.

All that glitters is not gold...
I still had a sample of
Million Gold Elixir and I thought, why not test it? I wasn't expecting much anyway and only expected the usual overdosed sweetness.
It wasn't quite that extreme after all. This fruity vanilla mix with a certain creaminess was quite okay. Either way, it's not "more" my DNA. But I also liked wearing perfumes like this in my youth. The main thing was relatively sweet / synthetic and overload.
That's why I don't want to talk this style down, but it's just no longer my thing and is also intended for a different target group.
In short: I'm out of my age (44) and too much in the perfume bubble. Accordingly, this fragrance would not convince me to buy it.
Even if it is a bar...all that glitters is not gold.

Maritime cyberpunk breeze
Let's start with Quentin Bisch, difficult for me because his creations are usually very synthetic / very artificial. I don't like most of his perfumes, but as always, that's purely subjective.
It's different with
Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense although it also goes in this direction but is softer, less pungent and more pleasant.
The start is very fresh aquatic with salt and pepper but as described in a synthetic way, you have to like that. I find and here we come to my headline, it comes across slightly metallic. Like smelling wet metal, which is not meant to be negative, but somehow interesting. I immediately had cyberpunk shapes in my head.
In summer, when the days are hotter, it shows its refreshing strength.
Intense also stands for intense. Really strong in all areas for an EDT. For me it is a very interesting release in the designer area, something different....there was something dared...out of the norm....I think it's good.
