Just too much unfortunately
Unfortunately too much.

Imagine yourself moving in a 500l wooden rum barrel. Exactly how it smells. Too much smokey wood and sharp booze for 8 hours straight. Gives others the impression that you spilled some fine rum on yourself but keep living in denial for the rest of the day.

In the late dry down starts to sweeten up just a tiny bit. This thing needs to be better balanced. The supposedly gourmandy notes are unpalatable behind the top ones. Cant understand the hype.

The Phoenix DNA
I remember when TF Oud Wood became one of the top fragrances of the house, taking the market by a gigantic storm. As nature dictates, it was followed by a golden age and finally a decline. We are living in this age right now, when Oud Wood is only the shadow of its former self.

Then through the houses of Thameen and now Nishane, the Phoenix is reborn.
While Carved Oud and FdB Oud Noire approaches the dna from certain high end angle with a definite intention of reinvention and amplification, Nishane further refines the formula.

For me personally CO and ON are a lot more animalic, a lot wilder beasts. The oud is raging in the formula, while in Kredo the notes are perfectly and consistently balanced throughout the wearing. All the rough edges of OW are refined, smoothened out, the original top heavy formula is now given a mind-blowing robust, gentle, leathery base. Just a beautiful harmony accompanied by great performance.

I hope Kredo will receive all the fame it deserves. If this juice was poured into TF bottles, it would conquer the world again.

Le Opposite
I was very much looking forward for this release, hoping for an amazing debut and long term success, however left blatantly disappointed.

I’m going to be very honest here. This fragrance is a mess. Tries very hard to reinvent, amplify, and revolutionize its backbone Le Male dna, unfortunately for me it is a very sad fail. I would have loved this to work, all the notes included are deeply whispering otherwise to my soul.

Not in this case. Imagine a crowd of 10 people, old and new faces alike talking to you at the same time. It just doesn’t work. The new notes are virtually unpalatable. Insanely sweet and unbalanced concoction wrapped in a wonderfully designed bottle, which is to me the highest rated feature of the fragrance. Definitely not worth the hype and I would kindly recommend for those who wish to enjoy the new notes, to try other options as well before making a final decision.

Unfortunately this is not Le Male, but Le Wannagetlaid Teenager Trying To Seduce Girls With Dads Car. Le hard pass.

Evolution from zero to hero
I have tried this fragrance for the first time in a niche store, which I have specifically visited to try some rare to find concoctions such as this one.

At first sniff, all I could think of was that it reminded me of the lacquer coating of olden wood church seats from the days my parents took me to the Christmas mass. It wasn't for me, and I couldn't comprehend why would anyone want to smell like this.

After a while, I came across a super deal I couldn't refuse, and thought to myself, well if its in all the top lists in the world, I must add it to the collection. After every frag I buy, I wore it for a whole day to see how it works on me. Man how wrong I was. Lesson learned again and again. Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't judge a fragrance only by its opening.

Performance is amazing for and EdT, and the dry down is the most beautiful soothing amber spicy dry down I have ever tried. Well deserved spot in the top, and Im glad I gave it another try. Masterpiece!

One of the most beautiful fragrances ever created
I have recently started my journey into fragrances, and I can proudly say that by now I have managed to try almost all of the top men’s/unisex concoctions.

While I have been looking for the one that resonates the most with my soul - a signature - Naxos has always been the one so close to it, that only refusing to accept the truth kept me going as I have tried it quite early on. Well, after a 100 bottles, even though I have managed to find decent contestants, Naxos is Naxos.

Perfectly balanced, full, wide spectrum of olfactory perfection. Naxos is Rembrandt. Naxos is Van Gogh. A timeless wonder which allows you to focus on a wide range on detail. Even in the detail you find beauty. Like a perfect pyramid that can be subdivided into smaller pyramids and you find the same beauty and symmetry everywhere.

This is paired with monstrous longevity and just the perfect 2 feet sillage.

Nothing more to say. Perfection.
