No stinky oud and still not good
First of all, the positive: I don't detect any cowshed notes when I spray on the fragrance. Animalic is therefore not present - or at least I wouldn't classify it as such.
Now the negative:
Unfortunately, the fragrance composition went completely wrong for me. At the beginning, citric and green notes try to top each other - the result is a disgusting toilet stone scent that you usually only smell in public toilets. Just really cheap citrus room fragrances so that it at least smells clean if it's not clean.
After a while, the fragrance changes to a woody, oudy scent. I love oud fragrances. For me, the stronger the better. I don't shy away from an "Oud Stars - Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" or an "XJ Oud - Kampuchea Noir | XerJoff".
However, this oud fragrance is more of the same: a musty, old house on the verge of collapse. It doesn't even smell musty or anything like that per se...Old houses can also have their charm with their smell...But the fragrance here goes in an "old people's home" direction. When you wear it, you feel like an old man who doesn't have long to live... The fragrance is certainly well crafted, but I really wonder who wears something like this.
I found the fragrance so bad that I had to wash it off. I just couldn't stand it any longer. That must mean something....
I can't say much about the longevity. The silage was okay...or rather it wasn't so bad that it didn't fill entire rooms. Otherwise I think it would have been unpleasant.

I was hoping for more....
Based on the name, I simply ordered the fragrance blind. "What could possibly go wrong with saffron fragrances" I thought to myself. Saffron is one of my absolute favorite fragrances, no matter what concentration or combination, all the saffron fragrances I have smelled so far have been convincing.
Unfortunately, it's different with this fragrance, because it doesn't convince me. Perhaps my expectations were too high...I don't know.
I don't think the saffron comes into its own, despite the name. Instead, there is a pungent detergent note in the foreground that really shatters everything. It only smells of citrus notes for hours on end...but not even positively fresh, but rather the kind of fresh that you hang in the toilet so that it always smells "fresh". I don't know what you're thinking when you combine saffron with fresh notes...but I don't like the result.
I don't know if it's due to the saffron, but I get a blatant hospital note. Disgusting.
I can't complain about the longevity - but that's what you'd expect from an extrait de parfum. The perfume has no silage. Even immediately after application, it is only perceptible close to the skin.
Unfortunately, for the price asked and given the name (both of the perfume and the perfumer), I was hoping for more....
