Lavender, citrus and skin...
Summer in the south of France.
A young sportswoman returns from training. She washes her sweaty body unclean with natural lavender soap.
A sweet ripe bergamot starts to rot in the heat.
This is what the Bergamask smells like to me, which is initially very crowd-pleasing, but after just a few hours has a very distinct musky note that makes the fragrance very unique and is very strongly present for the next 11-12 hours and is still perceptible even after 24 hours.

Mediterranean in a bottle
I found it difficult to find a summer fragrance that doesn't just have citrus to offer.
The Fico di Amalfi also has citrusy notes, but these serve more to give the fragrance a certain freshness kick. For me, the main protagonist is clearly the fig.
If you don't like figs, you're in the wrong place, but for me their smell is simply the epitome of a hot summer vacation on the Mediterranean.
The Fico di Amalfi has achieved this Mediterranean feeling perfectly and has me impatiently waiting for the next summer vacation.

Highway to Hell in a bottle
Have you ever wondered what a member of the Hells Angels would smell like?
To be honest, neither have I, but the Cuoium gives you the answer to this question in a very overwhelming way.
As a huge fan of leather fragrances like Ombré Leather, I wanted to try my hand at what many people on the internet say is the most realistic leather fragrance ever.
I can only agree with that.
Leather is very much to the fore in Cuoium. However, it is by no means the scent of an expensive designer leather jacket, but rather that of a smoky leather vest worn by an ultra-patriotic American Hells Angels member.
The animalistic scent, which is hard to miss in this perfume, also reminds me of this American highway aesthetic.
It smells like an animal that has been run over by the aforementioned gang member and is now beginning to rot on Route 66.
To summarize, the scent of a roadkill and that of a Hells Angels leather jacket have been packed into one bottle without restraint.
If you want to smell like this, you won't be able to get enough of Cuoium!

The girl for everything
Whether for the office, university, a date, summer, spring, fall or winter; the Terre d'Hermès always works. It is not too heavy for summer and not too fresh for winter either
The first minutes unfold a beautiful grapefruit which is then accompanied by wood. The fragrance smells very natural, unlike many citrusy competitors.
Simply a 10/10 fragrance if you need a versatile companion.

Positively surprised!
When someone mentions the name Montale to me, I usually only think of one thing at first: synthetics. All the Montale fragrances I've smelled so far have turned out to be synthetic bombs that scream for attention.
Infinity is an exception here. After many recommendations from friends and online, I decided to give Montale another chance; and it paid off.
Infinity has none of the typical Montale synthetics but is a beautifully balanced, spicy-woody and slightly floral fragrance.
Although I can't really smell the cherry or the plum, I really like the combination of the rose, the spices and the oud.
Going on the wish list for winter 2024!
