Everyday tea
I have the original formulation, which I love. It's my go to everyday scent most of the year when temperatures are cooler - a pleasant wave of tea, tobacco, and just a hint of spices. It's not overpowering, and wears beautifully on my skin. I feel like you can't really over spray this and it's gentle on the nose.
Smells like summer in the country
This is my first ffern fragrance, I heard about the brand and was excited to sign up / join the ledger. I was, honestly, a bit dubious I'd like this scent given the description of the perfume notes and my initial sniff on skin. I was so pleasantly surprised at how this fragrance evolved - moving from a strong citrus rush (emphasis on the lime and grapefruit) to gently spiced floral waves settling down on sweet hay. The citrus stays but it's breezy. It ends up in a lovely place. Is it a big, bold scent that lasts forever? No, but I prefer that honestly - I can sprtiz it liberally and reapply as needed! I love that this smells like nothing else I own. Great for layering with NUXE Huile Prodigieuse.
Excellent vanilla
At first a very soft, pleasant, and faded candle scent - like a tea light stored in a wooden drawer. After things settle in it really gets big and opens up into a caramelly, waxy, rich and just a smidge dusted vanllla cloud. It's lovely, but does have a surprise sillage - I went shopping after applying just one spray and kept getting a whiff of a beautiful vanilla perfume - wondered where it was coming from and took a minute to realize it was me! I also get many compliments bwhen I wear this.
Magical golden dust
Amazing, sumptuous smell that doesn't overpower/overwhelm - I had the pleasure of trying this at a Sunnamusk store and instantly bought a large bottle. Like others have noted, it does smell similar to Gentle Fluidity Gold, but I think it has a much different and preferable depth and warmth. Golden Dust is magical - it lasts amazingly long and it's very affordable given the performance - a few drops on the inner arms (that I then rub on my torso) lasts me all day.
Sauna whiskey campfire
A smokey, warm wood and vanilla imbued scent I could wear regularly - it's more grounded and rounded out than A City on Fire (which I also like, but that's pure smoke). The clay element is barely discernible to me but I do detect it as things settle in, along with a very pleasant and not sweet vanilla. It's more like smelling super smooth whiskey after being in a sauna to me than campfire + burnt marshmallow, though I see how it could veer in that territory. Overall - in like with this. Smells great on other people too.
