Aventus goes to Australia
It feels like every mainstream and even many niche brands now have a take on this famous Aventus DNA - some well done, some terrible but often it's this blend of a fruity note mixed with woody parts, sweetish, sometimes smoky or even very smoky.

Here we have Bohemian Lime, a very gentle, pleasant but also generic representative of this DNA. The top note is the strongest Aventus, almost Hacivat with a good dose of smoke. However, this quickly fades and the fragrance develops into a very pleasant but also generic citrus scent with a woody base
Well made but absolutely no difference to various designers. The low wood and smoke content makes it very unisex in my opinion.

Durability and silage - as always with G/B very bad, at least with me they hardly last.

Quest for Blue - Jewel!
Although the majority of negative comments and reviews put me off for a long time, I always had this fragrance in the back of my mind when it came to finding my Blue Signature.

Since it has a very appealing price point, I couldn't let it go and got it.

The result is a fragrance profile that, to be honest, makes me a bit addicted.

The Explorer Ultra Blue has nothing to do with the Explorer itself. As soon as you get past that, you can expect a perfume that for me bridges the gap between shower gel freshness and Aquat.

A very delicious fresh opening, citrusy but also that out of the shower freshness. A light pinch of pepper gives the whole thing a nice kick. Then a soft fruity sweetness. This kind of lemon perfume that is sweet and without acidity. Light aquatic vibes are added.

This drydown, which always retains its fresh blue character even if it becomes sweeter over time, is frankly addictive - at least exactly to the point of my fragrance profile.

It's 50% typical blue shower gel freshie, plus 50% citrusy aquat.

Durability and silage are really good.

To be honest, I think this is a fragrance where the Parfumo community has just decided it's stupid, too mainstream, too simple.

What's exciting is that it somehow smells very much like what you know, but has no direct fragrance twin, you can see that in all the comparisons, nothing really fits.

Definitely give it a chance!

Slain with the ice club
If this is Hawas Ice, then I'm worried about how strong the normal version is. Let's start with that.

Hawas Ice is 30 percent Y Eau de Parfum 30 percent Invictus Aqua (2016), a dose of Spicebomb Night Vision Eau de Parfum + plum.

The opening is very pleasant, fresh citrus notes, apple, a few spices - not very aquatic but very pleasant. Here it is strongly reminiscent of Y Eau de Parfum
There is also a good pinch of mint for a fresh kick. Less citrusy notes than in Invictus Aqua (2016)

Over time, however, a synthetic sweetness really kicks in, along with plum and cardamom. Still "pleasing" but in my opinion nothing for the summer. 1 spray on the arm and I could smell it everywhere for 2 hours. It is no longer fresh enough for an "ice" fragrance but simply gourmandy sweet.

The opening as a delicious refreshment at any time - everything that follows is too strong for me. The fragrance tolerates a shower without any problems and is then bearable afterwards.

Quest for Blue - a riddle
Discovered in the test set from the Replica range, this fragrance stuck in my mind straight away. I hadn't experienced anything outside of the mainstream, and this kind of subtle "concept fragrance" that smells different from the usual stuff on the market had grabbed me. But I wasn't sure how I would ultimately find it.

Some time later, I invested in the 30 ml - worn several times and hardly any smarter than before.

Sailing Day is somehow an aquatic - but a maximum airy one. You rather get the breeze of aquatics, the air while you are on a ship - so the title is well chosen. The most prominent scents are the berry notes and a certain saltiness. The maritime notes, mixed with the lightest form of a certain florality - but really just an idea.

The whole thing is very interesting, but maximally light and airy - no development, hardly any sillage. At most, it becomes a little saltier over time, like skin smells after some time out of the water.

In the end, this theme is interestingly realized, even if it didn't completely convince me as a "classic" perfume.

Longevity and sillage are virtually non-existent - as light as the fragrance itself.

Quest for Blue - Powder to the max.
Why are you called what you are called? The Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Toilette is a blue fragrance for 2-3 minutes. Very cool opening where you can definitely perceive freshness and bergamot, plus light sweet notes - shower gel freshness - very good.

After that, however, it takes a sharp turn and the iris and lavender really come through. It becomes warm, powdery, very sweet and loses a lot of its freshness and lightness for me. Certainly no longer an aquatic or blue fragrance. The typical Prada powderiness is the main character. Of course, this is not a bad fragrance profile, but the name, the marketing and the whole presentation suggest otherwise.

For what it is supposed to be, it doesn't work for me. As a fragrance in itself, it is too sweet and heavy for me, not fresh and sparkling enough. Not for summer and therefore somehow lost. A sweeter powder version of the drydown of Myslf or Polo est. 67 Eau de Toilette (both of which I like better)

Longevity and silage are quite weak, actually on freshie level, but unfortunately it is not.
