Super versatile

Just made an account to talk about this fragrance. It's great for layering or just flat out wearing on its own. Funny enough this was gifted to me and is now my most complimented fragrance. I don't think it's that special of a scent but it gets the job done every time. People seem to really like the scent and the freshness of it stands out imo. Overall, great all around cologne I would recommend.

Classic Designer Blue but good nonetheless

Bottle is a bit underwhelming... actually very underwhelming, but I really like this juice. It's a classic designer blue in the likes of Y EDP. I really enjoy it and reach for it quite often surprisingly. Lasting power is ok, but you'd be surprised that this is certainly a blind buy worthy blue fragrance in my opinion.

Classic Designer Shower Gel Freshness

Michael Kors pour Homme is a classic shower gel scent that always works and is well-received by others.
A pleasant freshness, aquatic, slightly sweet, and subtly floral.

This scent is by no means bad, as you can already tell. However, what I always find a bit unfortunate is that such fragrances often resemble each other, and they are recognized as typical designer scents and dismissed as such.
But there are also so many great designers. Fragrances from this segment that have at some point created something new and thus distinguished themselves from others.
Here, however, we unfortunately have yet another classic scent that you can smell here and there. It’s just too 0-8-15.
I find that a bit disappointing.
As mentioned, it really smells pleasant, but it’s always somewhat the same.

The performance is okay.
The scent lasts about six to eight hours on me. It tends to settle around seven hours.

There is no significant scent evolution. It is worth noting that the mentioned shower gel freshness diminishes over time and in the last two hours shifts more towards a very pleasing, slightly dry patchouli-vetiver base.

Delicious!

After Michael Kors (finally) concluded the Extreme series, it was high time to take a new direction. For a few months now, the new fragrance for men has arrived: Michael Kors pour Homme! Delicious! This scent is simply delicious, making the unimpressive, even boring fragrances of the Extreme series a thing of the past. The twist: Sage and sea water in the heart note are the guarantee for success and understatement, giving this fragrance its unique character. Freshness from the bergamot combined with sensuality, thanks to the sage and sea water on a solid base of amber and vetiver. An excellent combination of a balanced fragrance. And yes: It is aimed at a wide audience. However, it can impress across the board and is particularly well-suited as a daily scent for the office. I wished for it for Christmas and already know that I will be getting it. I can hardly wait!

Michael Kors = women's handbags.
That's the first thing I think of when it comes to Michael Kors. But how does it fare in terms of fragrance for men?

It's 2024 and the perfume market has already seen a few trends behind it and new trends ahead. Shower gel freshness was one such trend that brands seemingly couldn't avoid.
Some brands still seem unable to escape it.

The scent can be described relatively easily:
Take elements from L.12.12 Blanc Eau de Toilette, Legend Spirit and Versace pour Homme Dylan Blue Eau de Toilette, smooth out all the edges and round them off to a slick finish.
As user Dennis1104 already mentioned, it has that typical blue designer vibe, but in an extremely rounded form. This is truly a positive aspect of the fragrance.
A scent for the broad masses.
It really doesn't bother anyone.
However, for perfume enthusiasts like us, this is unfortunately quite trivial. It almost feels as if the formula had been sitting in a drawer for a few years and has now been dug up again.

Familiar and somewhat proven fragrance DNA that gets you through a workday with pleasant scent perception. If someone is looking to gift a fragrance and doesn't know what to choose, they might find something here. Or if you're on the lookout for a laid-back office scent.
