Wow. What an unboxing.
I have some high-priced perfumes such as the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait or the Angels Share.

None of the competitors could even begin to create the feeling that this masterpiece creates during unboxing.

The whole thing gives me insane Apple vibes and makes my heart race as soon as I unpack it.

Not only the unboxing is fantastic. The fragrance itself is also not wrongly in first place among unisex fragrances.

A warm, creamy and sweetly spicy fragrance that shines with a pleasant spiciness. Spicy fragrances are often "too much" for me. However, Naxos manages to bring a great balance. The fragrance is also gourmand, which immediately makes it one of my favorites. Gourmand fragrances? I have a thing for them.

Longevity and sillage are strong. Naxos is well perceived and the perfume is mentioned several times. A perfume that in my eyes is an absolute all-rounder for pretty much any situation. I think you can wear it in winter or summer. Whether woman, man or diverse plays absolutely no role.

The bottle is incredibly beautiful. For me, it's one of the most beautiful flacons ever. Everything about the perfume is very elegant. From the fragrance to the finish of the bottle.

Price/performance is a 10 out of 10 for me. Of course it's expensive ... but for the money you get 100ml of a fine unisex all-rounder presented in an insanely great unboxing.
Who can compete with that?

Why do I only give it 9.5?
It's not my all-time favorite perfume, because "Angels Share" by Kilian has that honor. But I can't deny that this masterpiece deserves a 10 out of 10.

Naxos quickly catches you with a pleasant lavender that harmonizes with a citrusy lemon/bergamot.
The warm and extremely gourmand honey quickly takes over the fragrance. It is coated with the finest cashmere and a hint of cinnamon, without smelling too "Christmassy" or "wintry".

The base of tobacco, vanilla and tonka bean round off the perfume to create a masterpiece. A fragrance that gets better and better due to its complexity. So versatile and never deviating from the peak/ climax of the olfactory experience.

An absolute must-have. A masterpiece. Have fun falling in love.

I ordered the Tom Ford classic in the hope that I would somehow like the #2 unisex fragrance. Even though I generally don't like oud fragrances.

Well .... Nevertheless, I thought I couldn't go wrong with such a successful and positively spoken perfume. So? Blind buy.

Was it stupid? Yes ! Absolutely.

The fragrance notes are very perceptible. You can smell a strong oud with some spices like cardamom and sandalwood.
Apart from that? Lots and lots of oud.
Oud here, oud there. Far too much of this stuff for my gourmand-friendly nose.

It became penetratingly annoying. 2 sprays are enough to have this scent in your nose everywhere.

I therefore found the H/S to be absolutely solid, much to my discomfort.

The bottle remains a TF classic. It lacks some contrast, but well ... suits the fragrance ^^

Price / performance? Well ... I don't think I've ever spent sooo much money on such a bad fragrance.

After a few, really a few hours on the skin, I finally smell something pleasant. That saves it a little and ensures that Oud Wood is not the worst fragrance I have ever tested.

But I won't be testing any more oud fragrances any time soon.

The father of the Kilian masterpiece Angel's Share, and my absolute favorite fragrance, has now created the little sister.

The fragrance is strong. The strongest from the parent company Zara.

You can expect a sweet, gourmand and beautiful fragrance.

An excellent tonka bean with chocolate and cinnamon envelops you and makes it very pleasant.
Although it is not as sweet as its big brother, it does a good job.

The deep and ultimately noble touch of Angels Share is missing in this fragrance.

But it is without question the best you can get for this price. Change my mind !

The H/S is of course only passable. But what should you expect at this price? You can easily use the great fragrance for inflationary purposes.

As with Angels Share, you can smell the apple strudel here. This makes the fragrance very delicious and gourmand. The difference to Angels Share, however, is the lack of cognac/whiskey.
But Sand Desert At Sunset is deliciously chocolatey. An absolute dream.

As a WC sprayer ...

Seriously, no.
I tested Aqua di Gio with great anticipation and was hugely disappointed.

The opening begins with fresh aquatic notes and bergamot. Already here it becomes unpleasant in my opinion. The interplay of the aquatic notes & the bergamot give me an intrusive toilet deodorant aroma that I know from (at least clean) public toilets.

The spice that follows doesn't make it any better. Rosemary is easy to recognize, but unfortunately I associate it with a diffuser scent from hotels. Next disappointment, so to speak.


It became bearable towards the end.
I can't understand why so many people wear it.

But: I'll take another look at it on clothes. Maybe my skin is simply not the "right" one for this fragrance ..

I tested the Cobalt and tried to hold back my basic skepticism towards synthetic fragrances a little.

The fragrance started with a delicious lavender note. Closely followed by a really good plum.

The whole thing lasted about 5-10 minutes. Then it became unpleasantly synthetic. Very unpleasant!
I was about to wipe off the scent.

But curiosity prevailed. So the fragrance developed back into something bearable.
The accompanying truffle makes the fragrance feel solid again at the end.

After a while, the strong synthetic note is no longer very pronounced.
