Gentle Caramelized Rose
I am really glad to have discovered this scent by chance : ). Well, the chance is called "shipping costs." To save on that, I browsed the online shop for something reasonably priced. Nothing really caught my eye. I saw a golden rose as a bottle and thought to myself, "that's kind of cute." The price was great, and I could save on shipping costs. So, into the virtual shopping cart and pay (without shipping costs).
When my package arrived a few days later, I of course opened it immediately. I unboxed Volare Gold first. I really wanted to try the scent!
I find the bottle beautiful and fitting for the fragrance. Somehow kitschy, but still well made.
As I sprayed the scent, I was immediately surrounded by a beautiful rose, not soapy or harsh. Peach and apple joined the rose shortly after, giving the perfume a pleasantly fruity progression. However, the rose is the most prominent and smells different to my nose each time. Sometimes it is delicately rosy, almost a fresh scent, and in the next moment, it's coated in caramel. I also perceive jasmine, but it stays subtly in the background. Sandalwood and amber emerge in the drydown. Personally, I really like the scent, even though I usually don't like rose in perfumes at all. It's a lovely affordable fragrance that I believe can be worn in any season. I will wear it to work this spring.
Sillage and longevity are good. I perceive the scent for about 6-7 hours, and from hour 5, it is very close to the skin.
