I'll keep it short:

The Joop! Homme Eau de Parfum is like a deep, mature version of the Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette. The cherry is no longer as sweet, and a hazelnut has been added to the top notes. A definite blind buy recommendation from me, especially for fans of the original.

Longevity and sillage are relatively the same as with the EDT, at least for me.
It works great in winter and also earns a compliment or two.
However, it should be noted that it also carries the typical synthetic Joop DNA.

Still a great scent :)

The first love... that's exactly what Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette is for me.
My father used to wear this fragrance so often that you could smell it through the door. But enough stories.

Joop Homme is synthetic, cherry-like, and sweet. Unfortunately, it is no longer the beast it once was, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. Among perfume fanatics, it is often considered "overused," and while there is some truth to that, it still doesn't smell outdated.
I still receive compliments, my wife loves it, and the price/performance ratio is great.
But I'm digressing again.

Although cherry is not listed in the pyramid, it is undoubtedly the dominant note. The fragrance DNA is super seductive, but it suffers from its synthetic nature. Although this will likely bother mainly us perfume lovers and not the "average nose."

In conclusion, one can say: seductive cherry with a lot of synthetics. The Joop! Homme Eau de Parfum is, in my opinion, the better, more mature version.
But still an absolute blind buy for the money.

Little spoiler: WOW!

Since it is listed here as a women's fragrance, I was skeptical for a long time whether it would be too feminine for me. After a week of extensive wear, I can say that I was wrong.

This sweet, seductive rose paired with a light oud undertone is simply unbelievably good. Especially for beginners in the "oud world," the Amethyst is perfectly suited.
I am currently collecting compliments with it like kids collect their soccer stickers.
The drydown is quite linear (which is by no means bad in this case).
It lasts on my skin for about 10-12 hours. The sillage is also really good, so I am quickly noticed everywhere and at all times.

As is typical for Lattafa, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. So unbeatable that one wonders how houses like Tom Ford justify their pricing.

The bottle is also very high-quality and beautiful, even though the inspiration is obvious. I do not know the original from Initio and therefore cannot make comparisons in scent.


To conclude, I would like to end as I began:

WOW!

I have already heard a lot about this fragrance, and after what felt like an eternity, I caught a brief window when it was available at Notino.

But now to the most important part: the scent.

The first thing I notice is a sweet alcoholic note. However, on the second sniff, the alcohol has already faded, and I can smell the wonderfully sweet scent of a date. Underlined by a very warm vanilla, the fragrance dries down, and accompanied by a hint of cinnamon, this scent lasts a solid 8-10 hours on my skin. At least.

Conclusion: Incredibly affordable fragrance. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Angels Share, with which Khamrah is often directly compared. But considered as a standalone work, this gourmand cube is one of my go-tos when I want to stand out. Since it is unisex and does not have a clear masculine note, my better half also occasionally uses it. The only downside is the cap, which is so tightly fitted that I can only get it off with all my strength. Otherwise, a clear recommendation to buy.
