Fuck women's scent.....her with the swill; flashback to the first own place
Although Joop Berlin is or was a women's fragrance, I loved it so much that I wore it. I agree with Turandot, also for my nose the top scent of Uncle Jöpchen. ;-)

Mega recognition value and wearable at any occasion and season.

It may sound trivial, but this shrill yellow bottle or the content made me totally curious. I couldn't help myself and had to sniff around.....ingeniously in my nose.

It's a pity it doesn't exist anymore

YES I like that, and very much you...schwabschwabidubidu schwabadabadu....warbler
So with these Fragrance brands a la German or Italian luxury car manufacturer, or English football star or Dunhill I was and am always extremely skeptical.

Either they smell cheap, slutty (male slutty), like Puffmutti at her best ;-) or Ludenliquid.

Various innumerable scent samples always turned out rather negatively. I just don't like these scents somehow, so it won't make its way into my bathroom. Until that "brown" Dunhill crossed my path.

I got the recommendation from a good friend at that time, and .....YES, I really like him. Whereby I must say, the sweet accents of the fragrance do not develop so strongly with me at all. I'm more aware of the spicy woody nuances. He's really flattering... unfortunately, I don't own him anymore.

It took me, believe it or not, 4 years to find him again... FINALLY!
well, a long search has come to a successful end today.

It must have been in 2014 or 2015 when this Private Blend series from Tom Ford was relatively new to Douglas. Like so often Christmas bustle, running around, a conglomerate of X smells, background noise to run away, whining mobile 'terror units', everything all over the place. OH, MY GOD! There comes Christmas spirit...laugh*
Of course you have to go in to the turquoises and "diesel in". In the DOUFTLaden it was of course full and crowdy like anything else. Especially with this chain I always develop a behaviour train shortly after entering the shop, which I don't know at all from myself. I try to avoid any eye contact, let alone dialogue - with the exception of the time of day greeting - with the servants, in order to escape the eagle-stealing sales conversation as undamaged as possible. In the eagerness of the fight a somewhat overzealous salesman approached me and pressed me a before sprayed smell strip into the hand with the comment " Try times this, this is really class ".
I could just still suppress my annoyed eye rolling, but took the strip to get rid of it again - so the seller - . Once briefly sniffed at it " Yes, quite ok " But I had somehow not the head for it to let myself in also something. So get out of the store and get to the car.
I had put the strip in some little jacket pocket and totally forgot. About a week later I found the strip again and sniffed it. Oh, that smells good....
Unfortunately, I didn't know what that guy had sprayed on the strip.
Well, that's how the guesswork started. In the meantime I had - due to other life circumstances - banished the scent to the back room. And last but not least, when I read something about Tom Ford here, especially about the Private Blend Collection, I thought about it like onion tears "they were relatively new back then, and they like to be marketed progressively". That could have been one of them, but which one?

Today I took the time (the super sympathetic saleswoman, too, by the way) and tested all possible candidates and "drumroll" Oud Wood was it....in my nose an ingenious, horny scent, which you can wear both in the office and for festive evening occasions. Tom Ford Fragrances Have generally done me a lot lately.
Already on the way back from the city, I have felt 376x at the wrist sniffed....:-))))))))))))

Note: Never leave the beach day exhausted and peeled on slightly alcoholic to buy an Edt ....
...hm where and how do I start?
So basically, bulgari men's fragrances polarize very strongly, as you can read in the various comments about them.
The "older" men fragrances definitely have a unique selling point and recognition effect - whether positive or negative - which I leave open diplomatically. :-)
Personally, I really like the older bulgari fragrances and they look good to me. They are definitely not everybody's darling, and not everyone can wear them, which I find good but

Well, now to "man." It was summer..........., I was drained of sun, beach and sea AND JAAAA! Slightly alcoholic "peeled" from the after beach party in the beach bar. On the way back to the hotel " och ja we go to the fragrance shop and let ourselves be sprinkled".
The employees are of course top trained and recognize immediately, if you are in a buying mood AND on top of that lightly tampered with, then the Maggi spice as top men fragrance on :-)))
(Or at least try)
Before I knew it, I felt surrounded by scent stripes and sample sprayers on every imaginable part of my body that can be "raped" for it. Sometime in the conversation I mentioned that I like bulgari quite well, probably rather out of desperation to get rid of the salesgirl for a few minutes and to be able to move unhindered
At some point I had two or three bulgari fragrances on stripes and poor, but I no longer knew which one was where. I liked one of them quite well but in retrospect it wasn't "man" so classically sold.
In my opinion, the fragrance is quite pleasing, but it tries to combine the individuality of bulgari on the one hand with the "everybodies darling" quality of a mainstream fragrance, and it doesn't really succeed. Also the durability is not as I know it from bulgari.
Too bad!

I was young and needed the Eau de Cologne ;-)
So this really nice Eau de Cologne I definitely bought early, that is, a little out of a momentary mood. Somehow I was not yet ready for the fragrance.

At first the scent had something that made me buy it. But after wearing it a few times, I somehow got the impression that the scent didn't really suit me. Somehow it just lay there, didn't really connect with me. For my nose it smelled like nonchalance or some kind of weird toilet scent, I can't really describe it - at least not like great Eau de Cologne.

So, unfortunately, it eked out an unfounded existence in the depths of my bathroom cabinet for some time. The other day I found it again and simply put something on my wrist, and what can I say, firstly I was totally amazed that the fragrance had not been knocked over and secondly it developed completely differently than I remembered it, much more positive.

I think I'm ready for that scent now... really a class cologne. Stands out of the crowd in any case, is not pushy and develops great. Unfortunately I don't think the durability and the sillage is too good but it's ok for an Eau de Cologne
