I'm starting to get a feel of what a cologne is suppsoed to smell like after testing out a few from Acqua di Parma. I can't say this one is my favorite though, which I'll explain below. When you concentrate hard enough, there is a difference between all Acqua di Parma's iteration of a cologne. You just need to look beneath the citrusy fruits to discover those differences.

Under these citrus fruits, I did get some sort of hard lemon candy vibe that lasted a good 30 minutes. After that it gets spicy, but at the same time sweet and smooth. It's one of the harder scents to describe. I got some warmth that reminded me of a resinous accord, although not quite which might be due to the clove. The citruses and the spices were the strongest on my skin, I barely got any florals if there were any. The drydown draws in the dark, earthy patchouli, paired with a woody base of spicy vetiver.

This is probably one of the stronger cologne that lasted on my skin. It's not a monster by any means, but I did smell a few wafts coming up from my skin during the day. I didn't have to smash my nose against it to even catch the ghost of a scent. At the end, it becomes a somewhat soapy, clean, manly scent which firmly places it into masculine territory. I wasn't a fan of the clove note, which is another reason why I won't be getting this one. I do see a mature men, an older, wiser man wearing this though. It does have an air of refinement to it.

This is a proper men's cologne. For the men who has it all together, who just got out of the shower all classy and clean. It won,t be making it into my collection because it leans way masculine, but I still wanted to try it out.

Clean citruses are paired with beautiful, aromatic vervain and rosemary. I get some soft, clean lavender, almost no roses.Citrus start leaving the way for a spicy aromatic that's very classic men's fragrance. I also start getting some clean vibes and a powdery, spicy tone. As it moves on, the clean spiciness becomes more clean woodiness. With the patchouli being the strongest, followed closely by the spicy vetiver.

Classic, clean, linear, it's all there. The performance is better than most Acqua di Parma since it has a strong woody base, but it's not a monster by any means. There's still a beautiful, classy bubble. Fit for a mature, grown men who's ready for a night out.

This is probably the one most masculine-leaning in the whole collection. All in all, it's an aromatic citrus fragrance for warm weather with absolutely horrible performance in sillage and projection. Longevity seems to be okay, but I have to mash my nose up against my skin to smell it after a few minutes.

The start is aromatic with lovely citrus fruits that are on the sweeter side of things. I barely get any sea breeze or florals although I did get something that could be a rose accord, but that might only be because I saw the notes and went smelling for it on my skin. Drydown remains fresh, albeit a little warm, with a cozy and subtle woodiness. It's all just very clean and soft. Beautiful, yes, outstanding, maybe not so much. But the pricepoint for its performance? Hell nah.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting this. I thought the Blu Mediterraneo collection was gonna revolve around citrus fruits and light freshies with some woodiness. Unisex, on the verge of masculine, perfect for warm weather type of fragrances. So when I stumbled upon this one I was completely taken aback.

I'll be honest, the transition between the fruity, citrusy top notes and the powdery, green, floral, fruity middle note is jarring and might be the most off-putting part for me. Top notes wer excellent, but the middle was meh. I think I wasn't fan of the mix between green almonds (sweet, green, powdery) and the ylang-ylang (fruity, sweet, floral). There was something there that clashed to my nose. Thankfully it ends up fading into a know drydown: soft vanilla mixed with powdery almonds. It's the first from this collection that I find unisex leaning into feminine terriotry. The performance is weak, like all the other Acqua di Parma I've smelled up until now.

Anyways, it's fine if you love almonds, but so far, there's only been one almond fragrance I've loved and it hasn't yet been dethroned and certainly not by this one. Might be my least favorite in the collection out of all those I've tested up until now. Oh well.

Lovely fruity, sweet fig without the usual green and sort-of plasticky/resinous scent I get from most fig fragrances. Might be the fact that this is nectar rather than pure figs. The fig is very strong, overshadowing the citrus fruits that are at the top. I still get a sweet, tangy and fruity vibe, but it's pretty subtle and I only know about it since I have been looking at the notes (and have smelled other Acqua di Parma so my nose knows what to smell for). There's a subtle spiciness coming from the pepper, but it's pretty soft, sweet and fresh compared to the other Acqua di Parma I've tested out. Drydown remains fresh, but a lovely fruity woodiness comes up. The drydown is soft and clean, like after getting out of the showwer. Overall, the notes are pretty tame compared to the fig nectar that remains the star throughout most of the fragrance.

Once again, Acqua di Parma has it down to a T when it comes to citrusy, woody and fresh perfumes. The only problem, and it's a major one, is the performance. Very weak, abyssmal even. It becomes a skin-scent after only a few minutes. It does live on your skin and makes your skin feel clean and washed up, but other than that, it doesn't really act like a perfume (imho). The pricepoint isn't worth it in my opinion and there are better freshies out there at a cheaper price.
