Hello dear friends of the good sniff.

I am a self-confessed Sauvage fan and I stand by that. The best of the series for me is the perfume. Even if certainly many do not share my opinion I have so far every Sauvage with 10/10 rated. Sauvage was simply my first real fragrance and there is something in it which makes me simply horny on the fragrance

Now to the Elixir. Sauvage Elixir may be seen as a completely independent fragrance. With no matter which Sauvage I compare it before I smell none of it out not even the perfume. Very minimal at most 5% maybe.
So if you hate the Sauvage series then this is possibly what for you!

It opens with a grapefruit lavender combo. The lavender comes across very mysterious and rubbery and in combination with the grapefruit very shower gel. A kind of generic shower gel so I personally do not find that the EDT, EDP etc do not smell like shower gel. The Elixir already.
But only for the first 10 minutes.

In the heart, the lavender softens and loses its gum consistency. Nevertheless, it is not a floral light lavender as in Luna Rossa Carbon but a rather resinous initially gummy lavender. In the heart I smell a resinous note which reminds me strongly of pine. It also has a certain anise-like heavy that reminds me of Armani Code. Very mysterious in itself!

From the heart note it smells definitely not mainstream rather nischig!

In the base, the lavender continues to flatten. Here I notice especially a smoky note in combination with a musky note. The base note reminds me something of a dark Aventus or MB explorer. But clearly more depth than explorer z.b.

Ambroxan is very low dosed present so very dimmed. Could it tlw also not perceive!
It also has something slightly barbershopmäßiges.

Find the fragrance itself really ineressant and complex. He is already making a development through!

Is aufjedenfall worth a smeller. Is really very adult the fragrance.
Mmn also suitable for people with Ambroxan and Sauvagephobia!

Now let's compare it with another clone instead of the original, that's maybe fairer.

Well, this one's definitely cuter. I wouldn't say cute but CDNIM is very harsh. This one is definitely slightly sweeter than Aventus. Doesn't really bother me.
The strong alcohol flag, which really reminds of ethanol-based disinfectants, is a good deduction.
You can definitely tell that it is an A clone. But it smells much more synthetic and less smoky than A. Like CDNIM also quite citric at the beginning

But the smell is actually really good. The biggest minus point is the weak H&S! You can fog up with 10 sprayers without any problems, on the skin the 2-3h keeps skin-close.
Therefore I would recommend the CDNIM as a clone! (or l aventure)

Nevertheless for the price super as reserve, car, travel smell to use.

As a reminder, I gave Aventus a 9.5 and CDNIM a 9.

After my statement I tested again on skin and test strips and compared. 4 test strips were 1x Sauvage EDT, 1x Sauvage EDP, 1x La rive Extreme Story and 1x This Adidas here.
Unfortunately I only sprayed the deodorant close for my test because I would never buy an Adidas fragrance...
Well, what can I say? I'm surprised
The Adidas Dare Edition smells more like Sauvage than the actual La Rive clone. I didn't want to believe it, but it's true. It doesn't smell like the Sauvage EDP but the Sauvage EDT is really close to it and even more so the Very Cool Spray

The top note is more citrusy than Sauvage and this one is very long lasting which is not bad.
In the heart note it is very similar to Sauvage EDT or Cool Spray.
The base note also has Sauvage character. The patchouli and the remaining mint that you don't smell at the beginning make you think of Versace Eros but really only the base

Try it out, if you are looking for a cheap Sauvage clone you are better off with this one than with La Rive Extreme Story.

After intensive testing and blind tests the percentages in my statement are not quite correct anymore, I probably didn't want to believe that it is so similar..
I would say that this scent is 75% Sauvage Very Cool Spray and 25% Adidas Sport scent
To compare the La Rive ES Clone is for me only 50% sauvage.

Yes, this fragrance is the beginning of a very long journey with me an extreme story so to speak. (story at the beginning, scent rating at the end)

There I once stood with my girlfriend at the miller's, we were just looking for a toy for the niece. Then I thought with "oh let's go to the perfume department".
Done. I saw the large selection of perfumes and only had to smile at the prices. "Who spends so much money on perfumes? In the end, it's all a matter of taste anyway". Up to that point I only had cheap Bruno Banani and Playboy fragrances at home. My girlfriend then said "well, if you don't want to spend so much money, there's a brand that more or less imitates fragrances, la rive".
"Horny" I thought. Then you don't need the expensive ones anyway! So I took Cash and Extreme story with me, googled the scents and found the forum here. Sauvage hmmm I know that from the advertising... cool!

Sprayed on at home and I thought "Wow, that smells better than anything I have smelled so far" which admittedly is not difficult.
I was in love. Just felt horny with the smell. Woke up and still smelled it! I never knew that before. Took a happy walk and was just happy

Then came the thought of "I wonder what real sauvage smells like." So ordered samples, smelled horny, that smells even better but still very similar! "Somehow expensive perfumes must do what cheap brands can't." I think you all know how it went on from here. I bought all kinds of brand fragrances and disposed of my Bruno Banani and Playboy plörre

EVALUATION:
What does Extreme Story smell like?
Now as with all La Rives, you have a strong alcohol note at the beginning. You have to give the scent 20 minutes. What makes it different from Sauvage which has one of the hottest top notes I know, really nice fruity warm aaah cool.
Heart and base note are then really similar, however, one has the feeling to wear Sauvage with both. In Extreme Story it feels like wearing a flanker of the Sauvage line without Ambroxan. Yes, that is completely (or almost completely) missing there. So if you don't like Ambroxan you might like Extreme story.
Due to the sad loss of Ambroxan, ES does not feel so nice and warm, glowing and noble. But what can you expect for 6 Euro? These 6 Euro beat all the perfumes I have tested for less than 30 Euro
I still wear it today when Sauvage is too good for me. Really a super dupe. Superduper hehe (please put your feet up that was flat)

Clear blind buy recommendation, even if you already own Sauvage.

So guys that was my story on Extreme Story. Who knows how it goes on but I think the name could not have been better
It was really an extremely cool story in the world of fragrances.

One gets directly the beautiful iris note that always stays there.
As felt everyone here has written very clean and pure the smell. The base note then smells completely like fresh laundry.

This fragrance simply radiates something bright and cheerful and somehow the smell has a calming effect.

I definitely think he's unisex. Woman can wear this too.

I find the scent simply makes you sympathetic. If you wear it, you will be perceived by your surroundings as likeable and serious
So it is not a "can opener" (I don't really like that expression) and you would think that it is not suitable for a date. But if you are seriously interested in a long relationship, this fragrance is the PERFECT first impression.
