A good Aventus clone

This is an Aventus clone similar to Explorer Montblanc and Armaf CDNIM. Honestly, it's pretty good. Performance probably won't impress you, but it's better than Tonino Lamborgini Invincibile, and the scent is very nice, not as citrusy as Invincibile or CDNIM. Great price value.

Well....

.... as a beginner in perfumery and a student, I, like most of you may have experienced, am unable to test the OG from the perfumes placed at head height. For this reason, I am often on the lookout for W O R T H Y twins. As an owner of several La Rive fragrances, I can actually say that they have some recommendable scents that come close to the original. However, I cannot confirm this with Black Creek. When I saw the new delivery at Müller (Vienna), Aventus immediately came to mind. I quickly sprayed two generous sprays on the tester and waited a few seconds. After that, I was surprised by a not overly synthetic pineapple. Unfortunately, this completely disappeared after about five minutes, and it’s hardly worth mentioning the apple and blackcurrant. I would like to continue here, but unfortunately, after about 30 minutes, I can perceive absolutely N O T H I N G anymore and thus cannot describe the further development of the scent. Sillage and longevity are therefore zero. The Vibrant Leather from Zara at least lasted an hour (longer)... I really hope that an expert can correct my experience here and that I might still get to spend the €7.99 someday - otherwise, I will continue my search for an affordable Aventus alternative....

Top Price-Performance

On to the next round - Aventus clones.

La Rive, known from countless drugstore fragrances, also tries its hand at this scent DNA with Black Creek, and it does quite well. For 6-7 euros, it's a price/performance steal.

The bottle is classic, nothing special.

First spray, everything you wish for is there: fruity freshness, mainly citrus, but at least I also imagine a bit of pineapple. There is smokiness, which then dominates the scent in the later stages.
The big catch is the later development. There is hardly any; after 3 hours, you can barely smell anything on the skin. For the first half hour, it makes an impression, but after that, you need to reapply if you want to maintain the sillage. But at this price, that's not tragic.

Scent is wonderful, longevity is moderate, but for the price, it's great. More stable quality than all other copies in the lowest price segment.

Black Creek vs CDNIM

Now let's compare it with another clone instead of the original, that might be fairer.

Well, this one is definitely sweeter. I wouldn't say sweet, but CDNIM is quite herbal. This one is definitely slightly sweet, even sweeter than Aventus. It doesn't really bother me.
Points are deducted for the strong alcohol scent that really reminds me of ethanol-based disinfectant.
You can definitely tell it's a clone. It smells significantly more synthetic and less smoky than A. Like CDNIM, it is also quite citrusy at the beginning. One of the better LA RIVE fragrances. The Bleu de Chanel dupe, for example, hardly has the DNA. Black Creek has that Aventus DNA but in a cheap way. Very synthetic. Later on, there's musk, plastic-like smoke. After about 3 hours, I can smell almost exclusively musk.

The scent itself is actually really good. The biggest downside is the weak H&S! You can easily spray yourself with 10 sprays, on the skin it lasts 2-3 hours close to the skin.
That's why I would recommend CDNIM as a clone! (or L'Aventure)

Still, for the price, it's great as a reserve, car, or travel scent. Scent-wise, it beats most drugstore fragrances.

Just to remind you, I rated Aventus 9.5 and CDNIM 9.

Pleasant for Summer, with Rather Weak Performance

Recently, when I was at Rossmann, I stumbled upon this fragrance.
I had little luck with scents from the "low budget" brand "La Rive," so I decided to give this fragrance a chance.
I was also looking for a scent for the summer.

It is a relatively unobtrusive fragrance, with a distinctly citrus-fruity note, which unfortunately comes across as rather weak in terms of longevity and sillage.
Regular reapplication throughout the day is necessary if you want to enjoy it for longer.

However, one must also put their own expectations in relation to the price, and the latter seems quite reasonable to me.

It is supposed to be a dupe of Aventus, as I have read. I must honestly say, you need a lot, very much imagination for that; the smoky note is almost completely missing, and otherwise, it just expresses the typical pineapple vibe, somehow a bit "thin and watery."

A pleasantly gentle flanker for everyday summer wear, nothing more and nothing less.
The bottle is discreet and does not come across as too cheap.
