Dear My Precioussss (Golum Voice) lovers,

I have to apologize to you and to Guerlain right away, probably my first AF was overturned or aged. Recently, I was suddenly overcome by a family monster called "wanting to have" and I bought another bottle. In the meantime, almost 2 years have passed since the last test.

This new test caused a fragrance addiction to bubble up in me again as I lay in bed and snuggled up in my blanket. If there are still such wonderful things to smell and discover, then I have no choice but to stay here a little longer, to treat myself to a little more (I never treat myself to anything else, it's finally time!).

For now,I love love love O blossom. It's one of my favorites among all the notes and scents in the world. It is the dominant note in this fragrance and all the others just dance around it.MPN is O-flower to the power of 3,sweet enough and balanced by the almond,which I normally don't like at all.It is sparkling enough (probably due to petitgrain) to be worn in summer and soft enough to give the wearer a stylish and elegant aura. This is probably due to the musk and other lulling travel companions that only appear after about 15 minutes.
A dream fragrance and the name fits perfectly.

My statement earlier was: "Forest blossom honey, everything else that you are supposed to smell here is far away."

Deleted, of course. It's not proper to tell untruths after being taught better. My first guess is an aged or tilted bottling. My second assumption is that the TZ from the large plastic sprayer (10-12 ml) was to blame for the perception, possibly too fine a mist and therefore you didn't get enough fragrance on your skin.


You are welcome to apply this fragrance generously. If it is possible and you can afford it, why not adorn yourself with golden angel wings.

In contrast to the previous speakers, I don't find this millesime light at all and even less pleasing.

Nevertheless, after Shalimar Extrait and the edc, it is my favorite Shalimar so far, because I like jasmine so much.
In the first few seconds you really get a full load of jasmine, which has already driven away some jasmine haters. The original can hide it well, in this one it has been masterfully blended without it becoming stuffy or sultry.

Those who have not yet run away can now, after these 10 seconds, look forward to Shalimar's art mixed with a heavy, smoky vanilla. And here, a single spray is enough, because the fragrance has a lot of oomph. When I smell the sprayed area, I have such a heavy sweetness in my nose that it evokes associations with syrup. In the silage, the fragrance is much more pleasant, as is the case with Shalimar Millésime Iris or even Tonka. Jasmine never leaves the fragrance, but for me it is only really noticeable in the first 10-20 seconds. After that, it's a small piece of the puzzle that fits in well but doesn't play the main role.
The Shalimar is not absent, which is how it should be.

For me, this was a successful blind buy.I honestly didn't think that Jelk would succeed in designing such a great creation with jasmine at the center.As it turns out, no expectations are the best and never disappoint.

Please dress lightly, preferably in a bright dress in sunny colors, maybe you have a yellow one with green flowers on it. A suit is also fine, of course, it's not that warm at 6:30 in the morning. After all, they are very brave hunters and hunt in the dark until early in the morning, and I'm sure they sacrificed their lives tonight for lots of leaves and bugs and whatnot.
What's that smell? Ooh, the black cat did a little business and is just burying himself. He always does that behind the bushes and thinks nobody sees him. "A tomcat.where then?;)" you say.

Now we have to move on. "Bye bye kitty. I love you." Just one more quick pat on the head and then we have to go slowly. Don't be in a hurry

Did I ever tell you where to buy the best vanilla cookies? Well, now you'll see it, or rather, smell it. But we'll have to be patient! Before you take a bite, your nose has to forget the cat pee. Ooh, but you haven't washed your hands yet, they still smell like nice soft baby cat fur. Never mind, once in a lifetime you're allowed to do that, enjoy vanilla and tonka cookies with unwashed hands.
It suddenly smells so powdery here, it must be a great luxury powder. It may also come from the Guerlain bakery - how do they do it?
Although the bakery is no longer family-owned, everything smells and tastes so wonderful. But sometimes you have the misfortune of meeting whining, dissatisfied customers who sit next to you and, instead of being grateful that the bakery still exists at all, keep pulling this "everything used to be better" out of their pockets. You don't have to listen to them, gratitude is a rare virtue.

Oh wow! That dress looks really good on you too. When did you change?

What did I want to tell you? That's right, I was going to. But you know that yourself, you don't have to wear dresses to be a woman. And with suits, you're no longer a man either. No matter what you wear, you do the "you" thing better than anyone else in the world.

My second and therefore last spillage story.

I didn't like the edt and edp Mitsouko.I think the peach is it.Something bothers me here.Possibly also the combination of ingredients. Maybe it's the cinnamon and peach combo. Anyway, not mine at all except for the extrait, which has a less broad silage and is therefore bearable for me and more than that, I find it to be one of the best perfumes ever

But the edp and edt do not warm up to me.And yet I find both beautiful in their own way.If only because there is nothing that has this fragrance DNA (yes,I used the unword) that smells anything like Mitsouko.The Princess Diana of fragrances.Different knitted,hard to forget,charismatic so much and so much that a fragrance can be.
But it doesn't help, I can't stand this combination, especially not above 25°C.

As I said, this is one of my two spillage stories. When I received the Guerlain sample, I knew immediately that Mitsy would be given away. But my clumsy fingers had a different opinion on this one day.the TZ was not closed well and I didn't check it.so all the liquid emptied onto my leggings.yikes,I thought.in this heat I really get so sick of this scent! And that was it on the first day, the second day I got used to it, the third day the leggings grew, nothing, the scent wouldn't go away. And so I learned to live with it and more than that, I learned to appreciate this fragrance. It was only after the 3rd(!!!) wash that it lost its power


Mitsouko still smells like a hug to me, and it can stay as it is, so it may not be mine, but its uniqueness is perfect and unrivaled. One day I will return to Mitsouko Eau de Parfum, perhaps on that day I will be a centimeter taller and more mature to be able to accept and wear it.

I am sorry that I did not describe the fragrance. I did that for the extrait. But I can't find a word for this one, I can't smell anything, just the fragrance as a whole. In colors I would say a red-yellow like the color of the sun, which gets cooler and cooler over time until it finally turns into a cool forest green.

I received a bottle last year and tested the Petit Guerlain
Nothing special, but it was somehow light and very special, like vanilla crescents and nuts wrapped in a fresh diaper, lightly powdered and flowery. It should never be too powdery for me, it makes me sick.
The floral is probably the mimosa, although it's used quite differently here in this fragrance than I'm used to and in perfect doses, but it still didn't knock my socks off

And so I had sprayed this bottling a few times and the scent was quite...hard to grasp somehow. As soon as you spray, it's gone.

But then I made the mistake (which I no longer consider a mistake) and forgot to put the TZ back in the slipcase. My mouse likes my bottles, they are like forbidden sweets for her, and she saw, seized the opportunity and spilled (spilled??) all the liquid (the stupid TZ had no isoband) over her little cardigan. She had practiced opening it well.
What a heavenly scent the little cardigan gave off for the next week! Even after a 30°C wash cycle, it still smelled so enchanting. I can't describe the scent any better than I did above. I had never smelled anything like it in my life. But not quite like perfume, like no perfume I know. For me one of the top 10 Guerlain fragrances, why it is discontinued is a mystery to me. Zero pungent, zero stuffy.

A small warning: I wouldn't describe it as a normal perfume, but I bet it won't go down well with many people who always need a twist, something spectacular. But if you like to smell good and want to feel like a fragrant 2-week-old head, you should try it out.

If anyone can also offer the old Petit Guerlain for exchange, please let me know, I'm so curious if it smells similar.
