Gourmande Vanilla

What a superb surprise!

Delicious powdery vanilla accompanied by rose and bergamot but also by the slight bitterness of angelica. It's just magnificent!

In reality I think it's an excellent dupe for Angélique Noire except that here, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

To be completely honest, Belle d'Amour leans more towards the gourmandise than the Guerlain but frankly for the price, it's totally worth it!

younger sister of Angelique

For sure you can smell the common nose behind Belle D'Amour and AN. BA opens fresher with more citrus and this top note lingers around a bit, but around 15 minutes into the wear (on skin) AN is more and more showing. Toned down but definitely the same vibe. If you like AN you could find yourself enjoying BA too. Of course it is slightly lighter. Can not say yet anything about the longevity. It is a very done creation and definitely can be an all day all year scent. It is not a dupe for sure, it is more the younger sister or even the daughter of Angelique. But definitely worth a try. Enjoy and let me know what you think. I am happy with my blind buy.

Angelique in a green dress

I spray you on yesterday's sunny winter's day, get on my bike and ride across the fields towards the sun. The light wind blows me a gentle breeze from you again and again. You start off green, thank Angelika! The association with Angélique Noire is immediately clear. As it progresses, I have the feeling that I'm sipping a fresh blackcurrant juice spritzer that contains more tart fruit than fructose. In contrast to Angélique Noire
you are more youthful, wearing a green dress rather than black, as I am reminded more of a flower meadow than gourmand vanilla. At the end of my bike ride, after six hours, I can only see you close up, but the sun has already set and it's starting to get a little too fresh for your green dress. But spring has already begun with you.

Springtime Angelica

I find it starts like Angelique Noir, with the green & fizzy angelica. However, this is a very green fragrance. The currant comes out very strongly for me. Almost like smelling a currant bush. I would clearly prescribe this fragrance in spring. In the drydown, the vanilla comes in very delicately. It is reminiscent of A.N. but still has a different character. I really like green fragrances, which is why I like it so much!

Green natural vanilla

I find the fragrance surprisingly good. The vanilla is quite dominant at the beginning, a bit like Yves Rocher Vanilla Garden, but not too sweet, with a green touch, a bit herbaceous. I like it at the moment. The bottle is retro, like an enchanted garden where everything grows as it pleases. Wild beauty and pure nature. Angelica and bergamot tickle the nose, it also has a subtle camomile note. I really like it for in between. Scent for Boho style, long white dress, barefoot, braided hair, hippichic.
