The king of all fragrances bears the title: Imperial Valley
Wealth, power and fame.
The man who fought for all this,
was Gissah, the king of fragrances.
When he was executed
his last words were: "You want my scent?
You can have it!
Why don't you look for it!
Somewhere I have hidden the greatest fragrance!"
This fragrance is the "Imperial Valley"
and it's somewhere in Kuwait!
This started the big Tiktok hype!!!
I have to be honest, I think it's the most beautiful fragrance in my collection. It smells majestic, charismatic and beautiful. It simply smells of wealth and elegance.
This fragrance smells very fresh and at the same time oriental, thanks to the oud and the leather. The leather and the oud smell very smooth and so well balanced and harmonize perfectly with the freshness.
Above all, the longevity is a beast despite the whole thing. So according to the motto "Here I come"!!!
As soon as I smell it, it completely blends out all other fragrances "no matter which one it is" and I only smell the
Imperial Valley Eau de Parfum. The sillage is brutal and the longevity 12h+.
Especially the spray head is the best I've ever seen in a bottle. So much comes out, which is why 1 spray is completely sufficient.
From my side a clear purchase recommendation but test before, because tastes are different :)

Cedrat Boise? More like Cedrat Boring..
I have to be honest and say that I liked the scent much better at the beginning (a few years ago).
To start with, I went into a perfumery and was a complete novice when it came to perfume. I had tested the Cedrat Boise on a fragrance strip and smelled it. Beautiful currant with a creamy vanilla and a wonderful lemon and a masculine smokiness that gave the fragrance a beautiful scent.
I bought the
Cedrat Boise 1 year later and have often read that since the reformulation the fragrance is no longer what it used to be. I still wanted to give the fragrance a chance and bought it anyway..
And what can I say: you were right...
I tried it first and all I smelled was lemon. But thought to myself "well, maybe it should just mature a little." Then I didn't use it for months and something changed. But not meant in a positive sense. It got a strong smokiness. Now it just smells (to my nose) like a boring lemon with a smokiness. There's nothing left to smell of the old vanilla and currants.
The shelf life is also very poor. I myself perceive it for a certain time. But it wears off quickly and those around me only notice the scent close to the skin.
I even found the
Dior Homme Sport (2012) Eau de Toilette a lot better. Sure, they both go in a different direction, but the lemon from the "cheaper" designer smelled better to me than from a niche brand?
Don't get me wrong, I still love the Mancera brand for its creativity and P/L. It's rare to find a niche at a low price. But it's just a shame that the
Cedrat Boise is no longer what it used to be.

It all started with you
I have a special relationship with this fragrance because it was my first fragrance, where my fragrance journey began.
Before that, I had had more mainstream fragrances like "Only The Brave (Eau de Toilette) | Diesel" and
Invictus Eau de Toilette. However, they didn't last long and I didn't have the urge to try new fragrances. With the
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette, however, my opinion and my view of fragrances changed drastically and I thought "there's so much more".
The fragrance was a gift and when I smelled the spray head for the first time, I thought to myself "oha, that smells pretty strong". I sprayed it on and it started with a strong citrus note that also began very smoky. I didn't know anything like that back then and I didn't know that it was a dupe of
Aventus (I didn't even know
Sauvage Eau de Toilette back then, let alone Creed :D).
Yes, it takes some getting used to at the opening and as many also say "Klorstein". However, the too strong citrus smell fades after about 20 minutes and a nice citric pineapple comes to the fore with a strong smokiness, which in my opinion comes across very masculine, and is absolutely not for women. Above all, the H/S of the fragrance is very good. After 8 hours, I still perceive the scent slightly. And the best thing about the fragrance is that it often comes in the shops for less than 30 euros, which is extremely good value for money for what it can do.
Many find it extremely synthetic and you should rather buy the
Aventus, as it is many times better and you shouldn't buy a "cheap copy". So the first thing I can say is that not everyone is prepared to throw 300 euros into a fragrance because either they don't have the money or they don't want to spend that much on a fragrance.
Secondly, the
Aventus has been reformulated and watered down several times, which is why it doesn't offer the same performance as it did a few years ago. And the
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette simply lasts longer than its predecessor.
Thirdly, of course the
Aventus smells better, but that's not worth 10 times the price to me, because the
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette smells very similar to the
Aventus apart from the opening. Sure, the
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette is smokier, but I really like that about the whole thing.
I've never tried the other versions of
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette, but they're all supposed to smell very similar apart from the
Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition. Maybe I'll get it at some point, but at the moment I'm sticking with
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette, especially given the price/quality ratio.
That's why I bought the
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette again and have no regrets!!!

Appearances are deceptive
Of all the designer fragrances I've tried so far, this is the one that really stands out from the rest and really surprised me.
You would expect the fragrance to smell fruity because of the design of the bottle. However, you would expect something completely different.
It is a very mature fragrance and not a youthful scent. The scent is definitely rose, rose and more rose!!! But it's not a synthetic rose that you know from other fragrances. It smells as if you are in a rose garden and there are authentic roses with thorns that you pick and you can smell the plant. I also detect a certain freshness in the fragrance.
It is a very complex fragrance that is very different to what you are used to from designers. It could also be a niche fragrance if you don't know which fragrance it is and smell it blind.
The H/S of the fragrance is also quite good. The fragrance is definitely worth a test!!!

Masculinity in an affordable bottle
Lataffa is one of the best and most well-known fragrance twill scents to date and Asad is not without reason one of the best and most popular fragrances in the house.
The bottle alone looks very high quality and doesn't feel cheap at a price of less than 30 euros.
The fragrance starts with a fresh pineapple and the tobacco also comes out well. Although it says coffee in the fragrance pyramid, it smells more like a cola. In general, I have a kind of shaving foam association with the fragrance for whatever reason. This fragrance smells quite masculine and I can't imagine it on a woman at all. The "Asad | Lattafa / لطافة" is really the epitome of what a real man should smell like, just like its role model the
Sauvage Elixir
Apropo
Sauvage Elixir, now we come to the comparison of the two, as the "Asad | Lattafa / لطافة" is supposed to be the dupe of the
Sauvage Elixir. It also smells quite similar, but it lacks a bit of depth and the licorice note is also missing in the Asad. But that's not a problem, as the fragrance is super cheap and can more than cope with the loss. You also have to consider that the
Sauvage Elixir costs many times more than the Asad, but does not smell many times better, but is more a matter of taste, as the "Asad | Lattafa / لطافة" is more suitable for everyday use due to its slightly weaker performance and cannot be as intrusive as its role model. But that doesn't mean that the fragrance is weak on the chest. It has enough power for over 8 hours and has a very good sillage that everyone can perceive, but is never overpowering.
The Asad is worth a blind buy at this price and is an absolute no-brainer (if you like this type of fragrance). I would say the "Asad | Lattafa / لطافة" smells 85% like its role model. It is best to try the
Sauvage Elixir in the store, as the differences are only in the perfomance and the licorice note.
