Welcome to My Palace
My goodness, I don't even know where to begin:
You might think I'm exaggerating, but this fragrance is for me the pure definition of a kingdom.

Imagine this: You walk through a massive gate and suddenly find yourself in an entrance hall larger than your entire house. The polished marble floor shines like a still lake in the moonlight, and the ceiling and walls sparkle with pearl-like lights, as if they were stolen from the heavens themselves.

These radiant, bright lights greet you with a sweet force. The marble beneath your feet exhales a fruity whisper with every step. In lavish display cases stand large rum bottles, whose presence you can feel even as you walk by. Next to them, in small golden containers, rests the finest saffron - it seems to glow, as if winking at you, yet its scent remains reserved, like a silent guardian.

After being welcomed by the Argos family, you proceed into the salon. Here too, the same exalted atmosphere, the same sparkling lights - but with the opening of the doors, a hint of the Orient wafts towards you. Right at the entrance, you are offered a dark, strong tea. You may take a seat. The sofas, made from the finest calf leather, conceal their own scent; instead, as you sit down, a spicy hint reminiscent of noble tonka bean rises to greet you. A brief gentle whiff of jasmine invites you to sink deeper into the cushions.

Then it happens: The king of the palace enters the room.
"Holy Mother," you think.
Dressed entirely in white, except for his long cloak - a pure bright red robe with golden embroidery. You pay him the honor of a handshake and embrace.

"By all the gods," you think next - his scent is so delicious that you would like to devour it. Musk and vanilla merge into a royal aura.

The gentleman finally invites you to follow him to a special room called Triumph of Bacchus Eau de Parfum: Behind the open door shines a display case, in the center of which a massive bottle reigns, surrounded by smaller vessels. You sink onto a cashmere sofa that is so soft it feels as if you are sitting directly on a cloud. The gentle, dim light envelops you in tranquility, while the king takes a seat across from you at a table made of cherry wood.

He takes a feather, sprays it with the fragrance without saying a word, and hands it to you. You close your eyes, and in your thoughts, you retrace the entire journey - from the first step into the hall to this moment. Every note, every breath, every memory is intertwined.

This is it - Triumph of Bacchus Eau de Parfum - from my perspective.

And now I am very curious about the "Triumph of Bacchus (Extrait de Parfum) | Argos."

Milan, Magic, and Minutes Before Closing!
From Northern Germany to Milan - over 1,000 km for a fragrance… Sounds crazy? Maybe it was a bit. But those who love scents know: Some things you just have to do.

The drive started off relaxed. Good mood, good music, everything was going well. Until we reached Switzerland.
Customs control. It took a while but nothing too wild. At least we thought so: valuable time was lost. And then came the nerve-wracking part: construction sites, traffic lights, traffic jams. Somewhere between Zurich and “we're about to lose it,” nothing was moving anymore. The GPS became a party pooper - the arrival time kept rising.

But eventually: breakthrough. Clear road. Still, the pulse remained high. And then - Milan.
Five minutes before closing time.
The boutique: almost empty. One saleswoman who was still advising another customer and was internally already in her evening mode. And then us - barging in like lost souls on a fragrance mission.
She took it in stride.

And the fragrance Via Manzoni 20?
The first impression: impact. Brandy hits hard - warm, round, almost liqueur-like. And then this sweet note… I immediately thought of honey, even though it’s not officially listed in the fragrance pyramid. Maybe the Davana? Or cherry myrrh, who knows.
Definitely oriental - but with style. No oriental overkill, but Milanese catwalk. Elegant, special, yet still spicy and powerful.

This is not a scent for every day. And certainly not one you just buy on a whim. But that’s exactly what makes it special. It has character. It has presence. And above all: The Via Manzoni 20 is now part of my story!

And yes - every minute spent in traffic was worth it.

In this sense: Thank you for reading, your Yashar!
