Finally a good Xerjoff again?
Well, where should I start, lately the Xerjoff releases have been rather nothing. Characterized by a lot of synthetics and nothing special. But this has now changed?
When I was in Milan last week and of course stopped by the Xerjoff boutique, the employee introduced me directly to this new fragrance and when I asked her if it was new, she said yes, it was only released last week. I tested it relatively without expectation and what can I say, finally another good Xerjoff.
To be honest, the notes don't say very much about the fragrance, because it starts immediately with a concise sour cherry, which I find is accompanied by gingerbread on the next sniff. At the same time, there is also a certain brandy note and a light orange note. And now the fragrance picture is actually already complete, because the fragrance is very linear and actually stays with this initial mix. Only the cherry fades a little. But the linear fragrance is not a bad thing either! What also made me very happy was that the fragrance doesn't have that typical synthetic quality that Xerjoff has often used recently.
So I immediately asked the saleswoman for a bottle, which is also beautifully designed, as the Milan Cathedral is engraved on the sides. The fragrance is priced at €270, which I think is fair. Surprisingly, you can't find any information about the fragrance online, probably because it's still so new. All in all, it seems as if Xerjoff is once again focusing on less synthetics. Let's hope that this continues for the next releases!
