I’m a bit bored of my perfume collection. It’s not huge and I cycle between them between my mood, the season, some I wear to sleep etc. I have a hankering for a new Guerlain but I have extreme anxiety about blind buying and there is no shop near me that carries Guerlain which is so stupid IMO. :/

You should try some affordable perfumes as blind buys such as - Boucheron (1988) Eau de Parfum that is my best ever blind buy.. I actually prefer it over all the Guerlain perfumes I’ve tried with the exception of Samsara Eau de Toilette I haven’t tried the new Samsara (the ones in those generic bottles they use for every perfume now) so not sure If it lives up to the original I have.

I decided I will start wearing my Versace that I haven’t touched in months, tomorrow. Right now I’m rocking Rosa Rossa as it’s in the 90sf/30sc. I think it’s good for hot weather.

Maybe you can find a sample of N°5 Eau Première. If you like that one and if it has to be a Guerlain, you will LOVE Liu Eau de Parfum because it's even better and has better performance. I see you have Insolence; a milder, more melancholy, powdery Guerlain is L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum

A very good Rose perfume from Guerlain is Nahema Eau de Parfum I found it a bit too much rose but if you love a realistic, beautyful rose this is the way to go.

I think you love flowery perfumes and something completely different but very flowery (with a little patchouli that you don't seem to like, but which is not too obvious, in the base) is Private Collection Eau de Parfum Also relatively affordable online.

It’s true I’m a flowery b-word and I am a huge fan of rose body wash, soap, body powder, real rose bushes etc. Ah I’m spoiled for choice.

Instead of blind buying, look at some decant houses and sample that way. If you're hankering for Guerlain see if you can explore that way. Perfuum.com, decantx, my fragrance samples carry some Guerlains. Maxaroma also has Guerlain decants. Granted, a little pricier than the decant houses, but they have a larger variety. You have a lot of options.

Thanks everyone. I’ve bought some samples and I’m excited to receive them and explore the scents.

I agree. Now is the time to sample everything that piques your interest! (Within your budget, of course!)
