How do you store/organise your fragrances

How do you store/organise your fragrances 2

Hello everyone ! I think we all know here that we should keep our fragrances in a dark cool place away from temperature variations. But I was thing about how do you store and display them ?

For me, a part of in my dressing on the shelves is dedicated to my fragrance because it fit all the requirements above. And I kind of organise them with a ladder system made of their boxes, for the full bottles. Not really glorious, neither really practical, so I have been looking for a way yo arrange them differently.

And I was wondering if anyone here is dealing with the same issues and if you have a found a way to organise your bottle you will be willing to share with us your organisation system ? Maybe with pictures I don’t how it would be the most practical ?

I’ve a corner desk that has shelves on it; no direct sunlight. It’s also not huge shelves so I don’t buy tons of fragrances.

I just throw them onto my shelves with the rest of my collectibles. Our apartment doesn't get direct sunlight, which is probably not a good thing for us living creatures, but pretty nice in terms of being able to throw things in any corner I want to.

Pardon the dust and low photo quality. I really need to clean up and will likely rearrange stuff once I do, but at this moment the main set of shelves looks something like this (I have more, but they're a pain to all get in the shot at once):

Basement in alphabetical order by house.

I use a bookshelf from Ikea and acrylic tiers from Amazon. It's in a corner of what we call the "family room," an addition to the house by a previous owner that's off to one side of the house. There is a bit of temperature variation as the A/C doesn't get in there as well as other parts of the house, but it's out of the humidity and sun at least.

I have those acrylic tiers for displays of my main bottles, and my samples on smaller ziploc bags.

I have a bag in which all of my, not often worn, perfumes go (in their boxes mostly) and that bag is in a, very cool and dark, storage that came with my appartment in a shared hallway. Right now, most of those are the scents that are more appropriate for fall and winter or perfumes I don't like and will take to a second hand store or give to relatives and friends who do like them.

My more often worn perfumes (so right now my summer or 'all season' scents) are on a cabinet in my bedroom which is always cool and also those perfumes, I keep in their boxes. I try to put them in rows by brand and/or scent profile.

Comes fall/winter (oh let that don't be too soon!), my summer scents will go into the bag and then my winter and 'all season' scents will go on the cabinet.

Depends on where I'm living 😄 When I used to live in various blocks of flats, one reason for choosing a particular flat was that it had a walk-in closet that I used as my perfume room. Currently I'm living in a farmhouse that has lots of space so I keep my fragrances in cupboards that have custom made shelves. They're protected from the sun but still a nice looking display. I organize by colour mostly because I think it looks nice. I have also some theme displays, for example all my Lush fragrances are in a separate display.
