Mahonial® is a synthetic lily-of-the-valley, or muguet, aroma material with a fresh, transparent and bright floral profile. It adds clean, green and slightly watery floral facets to a composition and is used as a modern building block for lily-of-the-valley, spring-flower and fresh floral accords, since the scent of lily of the valley is recreated synthetically in perfumery.
