Versace pour Femme Dylan Purple Versace 2022 Eau de Parfum

I overlooked this fragrance during the better part of my journey in favour of other brands, but thanks to my boyfriend, I discovered this line at Sephora and I am pleasantly surprised by this one. Currently on a quest to find the best fruity / floral perfumes to add to my collection because the warmer days are coming, I wasn't expecting my boyfriend to point out this bottle at a Sephora. At first sniff he fell in love and I followed shortly after.

It's a nice sweet pear opening (very different from the pear note I smelled in Vanilla Woods Eau de Parfum . This one is fruity, juicy and sweet. I almost felt like I was sniffing pear nectar or a fruity juice box. The citrus in the opening further enhances the sweetness and juiciness of it all. It's very uplifting and is giving me playfulness. It's followed by a nice round plum note that gives everything a more earthy, tart aspect and a sweet, jammy rose. I'm guessing the last one comes from the Pomarose note. I was a bit cautious when I saw there were a lot of synthetic notes but it's pretty subtle. The accords are almost photorealistic which makes this perfume even more stunning. The drydown becomes this almost warm, woody and fresh scent with hints of cedar. This fragrance is very well-blended and flows quite effortlessly on my skin. It's giving soothing, but uplifting. Inoffensive to wear any day and anytime.

I'm pretty happy I discovered this perfume; a reminder that perfumes should not be overlooked even though you don't think it will fit you. I'm quite curious to test out the other perfumes in this line and see if they're as good as this one. A nice fruity floral perfume for when you want to feel this uplifting zesty energy during the warmer and colder weather. A nice pick-me up!

I quite like the opening (not a surprise, as I'm always a sucker for a citrusy opening). But after about ten minutes, the citrus goes away and I'm left with that familiar soapy, shampoo base that seems to be a theme with this line. Don't get me wrong, it's nice shampoo. It's a pleasant floral pear-scented shampoo. If you like a clean, soapy scent and want to try something that has that DNA but with a fun, fruity aspect to it, I would recommend this. It's just not what I'm personally trying to smell like.

Dylan purple by Versace is the latest flanker of the Dylan line. It’s a fruity floral fresh scent with a stunning pear opening. The fruitiness stays but gets smoothed out by florals and smooth smelling molecules. It’s long lasting and projecting, especially on clothes.

Versace's Dylan Purple is a delightful fragrance that bursts with fruity freshness. The first thing that hits you is a wave of sparkling citrus and juicy pear, like a delicious Italian summer drink. It's bright and cheerful, perfect for a hot weather, daytime scent or even at bedtime for a sweet fragrance. I like to combine it with lotions that have a pear note.

My only disappointment with Dylan Purple is that the scent fades too quickly, if it lasted all day it would be amazing! So, if you're looking for a long-lasting fragrance, this might not be the best choice. However, if you love fruity and fresh scents and don't mind reapplying throughout the day, Dylan Purple is a delicious summertime scent!

It smells like a fruitpunch without being overly sweet. The pear comes out pleasantly as the most dominant note. The smell reminds me of waking up in the moring on days off. What kills this fragrance is the longevity. It does not last on skin or fabric. I can barely smell it after 2 hours and after 4 its completely gone.
