Phantom copy

tested today at the sephora de la confluence in Lyon.

the bottle is really pretty, I was not convinced by the first eau de toilette version, out of curiosity, I wanted to smell this one in eau de parfum format.

but what a disappointment, it's the copy of phantom by paco rabanne which I already find horrible. I don't understand the point of releasing a perfume of such poor quality when the brand has better ones for this line.

Weak hold, weak wake, the price is affordable but for this one you can have so many other superior references

Other than expected...

I got the fragrance as a gift and at first I was a bit scared because I only had the rating from Parfumo in the back of my mind, but when I sprayed the fragrance on I honestly had to admit that it's not that bad. Sure it's nothing special I don't want to say that at all but the fragrance is completely suitable for the masses and for me when I'm at home or want to go to the gym I find the fragrance perfect, durability is not even that bad on my skin it lasted about 6h which is not a masterpiece but still better than many other things that lurk on the market.

So all in all you get a mass suitable, fresh everyday fragrance with solid durability.
The fragrance smells more like synthetic juniper with a little vetiver.
If the fragrance is somewhere in the sale with 30% discount definitely a blindbuy.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I've already cracked my fingers and was ready to verbally bash a bad designer fragrance again, until I saw that the Parfumo community had already beaten me to it. An average rating of 5.6 - ouch! - only Wanted Tonic is actually rated worse. The Wanted range is actually very popular and while the likes of The Most Wanted Parfum can be described as "The Good", Wanted Eau de Parfum would be "The Bad" or worse, "The Ugly".

The start is actually quite promising, because it starts with a spicy freshness that I would definitely describe as successful. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't follow on from the opening and falls into designer madness as it progresses. It becomes increasingly "berry" in a strange way. The fragrance starts to become unpleasant. The whole thing is crowned with an unnecessary portion of synthetic sludge at the end.

The performance is better than the fragrance DNA, but with a self-perception of four hours with four sprays on the neck, it can't knock my socks off either.

The bottle with its chrome design and golden accents is quite handsome, but is just on the edge when it comes to not looking too antisocial.

In terms of price, I have already seen 100ml on the internet for around 62 euros. That's not much, but you don't get much for it either. So it's better to spend the money on useful things, such as: The Most Wanted Parfum

The only thing that Wanted Eau de Parfum and The Most Wanted Parfum have in common is the fact that only three ingredients are listed for both fragrances. In all other areas, their big brother plays in a completely different league.

I think it's better than shown here

Wanted the EdP is definitely better for me than for most people. The fragrance is rated pretty poorly here. I can't quite understand that.
The funny thing for me is also that the fragrance pyramid given does not reflect what the fragrance actually does.

First of all, as information..
...I had a manufacturer's sample, which was not for spraying on, but a sample to peel off.

About the fragrance:
At the beginning, I noticed a light, refreshing juniper berry with a pleasant fruity sweetness.
But now comes the interesting part. Right at the beginning, I also sensed a nutty sweetness, slightly warming and almost gourmand-like.
This was joined by a pleasant sage note, which went really well.
Towards the end, it becomes increasingly sweet for me and the fresher aspects recede further and further.

A fragrance that once again doesn't reinvent the world of fragrances, but that's not a bad thing.
It smells good and is particularly well received outside our perfume bubble.
We are sometimes a bit spoiled and expect new facets here and there.
I try to step out of this bubble from time to time.
I think I succeed quite well and can therefore judge it a little more objectively.
Furthermore, of course, it is always a question of personal taste.
