Unobtrusive Scent

I bought this fragrance about a year ago at Schlecker. I had never tested this scent before, but since it was quite inexpensive, I took it right away. I believe it cost around 30 euros. A fair price for 90ml.
After spraying, it smells solid and neatly fresh. With this scent, you certainly won’t stand out negatively in most situations. But that’s also the problem. It is very unobtrusive and has little character. You might as well use a fresh-smelling shampoo. There wouldn't be much of a difference. While it does smell quite fresh and gives a well-groomed impression, it is far too generic for me. The longevity leaves much to be desired. After just a few hours, there isn’t much left.
As a previous reviewer mentioned, I also come to the conclusion: It can be used for everyday wear. However, you can find a similar scent for just 10 euros (e.g. Adidas). Even in the 30-euro range, you can find many better fragrances with more individuality.
For me personally, it’s not a bad purchase, but it won’t be more than an everyday scent for me.

Rather Disappointing

BALDESSARINI DEL MAR was once again a Christmas gift.
However, the new fragrance was not completely unfamiliar to me at that time, as its advertising campaign was running simultaneously.
A gray-streaked tough guy with a three-day beard, relaxing on his huge white motor yacht as he speeds across the sea. And in the print media, additionally with the promise "separates men from the boys." How great, I thought.
According to my parents, Werner Baldessarini also lived in their neighborhood for quite some time... possibly a fragrance with nuances of local color?

The bottle also looked very appealing, but the scent itself was almost a disappointment for me:
Mainstream again! Is this really how a billionaire smells who has just handed over the company to his sons and is now enjoying life and finally treating himself?
This is more of a scent for the head of his marketing department...

My conclusion: the scent is really okay... it doesn't stink or annoy, and it's not a loud brand - it's just mainstream.
But certainly not exclusivity, freedom, and adventure??
As a gift, you can't go wrong with it, but I certainly wouldn't spend my own money on it.

This may not be the big hit from Baldessarini that we are still waiting for, but Del Mar is an appealing, fresh-aromatic scent for the masses. It fits wonderfully with the serious insurance agent, is not a rebel, but never stands out negatively either. I think they went a bit overboard with the amber, as they could have looked for other alternatives to make the scent a bit more exciting. Longevity and projection are not very convincing for me, except for the amber that remains. It fits well with the insurance agents again, who usually don't manage to convince me either.

"Still Water" - quite deep!

It doesn't always have to be loud and powerful with fragrances. Sometimes, softer tones are welcome. They certainly don't lack depth, as seen in "Mäurer & Wirtz - Baldessarini Del Mar". It doesn't make high waves, as it belongs to the "deep sea," which is anything but boring. Citrus fruits mingle, delicately spiced with black pepper. A hint of exoticism arises from cinnamon and cardamom. They are all calm... they linger - and enrich themselves with fresh cedarwood, gathering aromas like a whale collects plankton. Delicate amber notes, grounded with patchouli and vetiver, along with a touch of incense evaporate. Like the whale, it swims leisurely in still waters down to the deep layers. It surfaces to "catch its breath" - releasing gentle fountains of delightful scents - and slowly sinks back down. And "the waters" are pastel-colored - at the surface, glassy orbs float, refracting the sunlight.
Very pleasant to smell!! Unfortunately discontinued....
