Lacks inspiration

Disappointed with this scent, I was looking forward to an ambrosxan aldehyde perfume that advertises as unique by being bergamot forward. While I can smell aldehyde notes quite strongly, this was a nothingburger that smells like Not a Perfume that went through the laundry and faded away! It's a flat perfume with little depth, and the bergamot does not last beyond the first five minutes of spraying. However, it is inoffensive and if you like sheer scents, this may be up your alley.

Addicting scent of a babies head, kinda.

Bought the Dedcool sample set and here’s the first fragrance, Milk.

First spray on paper - an airy slightly floral fragrance. I seem to pick up orange blossom notes, think solar notes. I don’t pick up any milkiness or musk.

On skin - the fragrance begins to shine with again a short initial orange blossom scent but that quickly dissipates. A few minutes goes by and the scent develops into a creamy skin scent with a hint of a clean white musk with a smidge of saltiness.

The first lactonic fragrance I’ve sniffed and there truly is a slightly sweet, warmth from the amber mostly, that reminds me of the addicting scent of a babies head. Comforting, clean, soft and you have to really inhale the scent to smell it. I love musk scents but don’t get much of that note here.

I imagine it works well on warm, moisturised skin after a shower. Noted that the blend seems to have a high oil content as after 10 mins I can still see the oil residue on my skin, probably best not to spray on clothes.

Your-skin-but-better trend. Again.

Juliette has a Gun has already been there, done that with their ever popular Not a Perfume Eau de Parfum. Might be why Dedcool decided to try to get on the hype train of the your-skin-but-better trend, but unfortunately it falls flat. Instead of bringing something new to the people, they almost brought something exactly the same as JHaG (at least the latter were the trendsetters...).

A fleeting zest zing of bergamot soon replaced by a skin scent. Sometimes smells like fresh laundry or a creamy ghost of a lotion remaining. It's pretty sheer, transparent and very fragile. The projection is very minimal on me, but it does smell clean and fresh.

There's not much more to say. I'm not a your-skin-but-better type of girl, so I'll have to pass up on this one too. Right now Dedcool hasn't wowed me with any of their offerings. I'm kind of disappointed...

Skin fragrance

A typical skin fragrance for me: your skin but better.
Has a similarity to Not a Perfume Eau de Parfum and also AnOther 13 Eau de Parfum but fresher and lighter.

The only thing I don't like is the consistency. It's a bit oily, so it's not wearable on clothes. I bathe myself in light fragrances and unfortunately this is not possible otherwise the clothes are oily stained. It is therefore also not particularly easy to apply to the skin. If I have to think about where to spray it on, the fun is over for me.
