Unsettlingly savory

The smoke here is powerful but unfortunately something about this scent reminds me of sausage. Maybe not meat specifically, but an herb that might be used in a sausage. That combined with the smoke made me think of BBQed cured meats. As with all the other Molecule fragrances I've tried, the scent fades quickly but I was really glad for it this time.

Bacon? Seriously?

When buying the Blanche fragrance for a great friend, I got talking to the salesman and mentioned that I was also looking for a new fragrance. After a quick inventory, he let me sniff a few scents and what can I say: he was pretty much right. One of them was Molecule 01 + Guaiac, which I didn't pay any attention to at first. After the third day I thought to myself that it was very similar to Gaiac 10 when applied, this fragrance is also in my closet. For me, it's a clean scent with a dash of dirt ;) I like Molecule a tad better, it's more subtle, comes and goes Molecule-like. There were also some compliments and confusion about this fragrance in the office. "I only smell it when you move. It smells insanely interesting!" Fits for me. It's woody and smoky, but very pleasing, it's not overpowering and it's a looooong way from bacon (in my world)!
