Great easy reach!
If you think of La Nuit de L'Homme Eau de Toilette as an elegant, evening perfume, then this Korres would be its more relaxed counterpart.

It follows YSL's profile very closely, to the point of saying that Vetiver Root might even be a clone. Whether it's a clone or not, I don't know, since Korres usually makes original creations, but seeing the note breakdown it is clear that Korres took some, if not almost all inspiration from YSL.
Still, it is a fresher composition, therefore, I deem it more suitable for a casual daily wear.

But don't be fooled by its slight freshness, it is still great during colder days and it can still pass as an evening fragrance. I think you can wear it all year round. Also I would say it is unisex.
Overall conclusion = very versatile.

Performance on my skin is great, just 2-3 sprays on the neck makes it project nicely for a few hours. It lasts 6+ hours, however later it is very soft and close to skin, but it's still there!

Value wise, it is awesome! It retails for around 30 euros and I got it on discount for 16 euros. Big amber colored glass bottle also adds to the feel of quality.

To conclude: if you like La Nuit de L'Homme Eau de Toilette but you're looking to save some money, then look no further. Korres Vetiver Root is an excellent choice.

Talking about similarities...
Here we have the first men fragrance from Korres brand from Greece.Korres is a brand who use votanic ingredients in their cosmetics.I am big fan of the shower gels because they are very cheap for their quality (my favourites are the citron,vanilla-cinamon,ginger-lemon and the yogurt).
But here we have also another clone of YSL La Nuit (in my opinion) and a scent very similar with Puma Push the Heat and Zara Strolling Over Heaven ( I have written statements for both of them) and it is possible with many others.Let's make it clear La Nuit is only one ,the original, although I can not ignore
so many similarities and the price,
Now,Korres VGC is basically a linear sweet, flowery and less spicy-woody scent.I recognize the lavender, the cardamon, and the cedarwood and less bergamot, vetiver and amber.I can't capture any tea and oakmoss notes.Longevity and sillage are very weak. You could use it as an eau de cologne and definitely not as a perfume..It is a daily, versatile fragrance for all seasons excluding the very hot days
.If I had to compare it with the other two aforementioned fragrances I would say that the scents are very similar after 10 minutes of the spray.Korres is slightly sweeter and Zara a bit more dry.Puma has better longevity and Zarra is the cheaper but Korres is phthalates and compound free(as it's written in the flask).
So if you are looking for an alternative and budjet YSL LN τhe choise is yours.

Honky tonka harbinger
Cardamom & tonka are the real stars of the show, with minimal vetiver to be found. Sweet, aromatic, citrus in the picture long enough to keep your attention span as the drydown kicks in with mind-numbing lavender/tonka/amber that reads less like aromatherapy and more like a roofie. Generally pleasing and a combination field tested by many a frat bro and (later down the line) sunken stockbroker alike. It’s certainly nothing exciting with a standard to-be-expected general appeal that would also explain why caesar salad is on every menu in the financial district. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, which is maybe why I’m on high alert, waiting for a murmured slur or slug to the chest. A solid affordable option for someone trying to impress in an interview; it blends in with similar designer perfumes (e.g. La Nuit de l’homme as many others have mentioned) in terms of quality and longevity.

Sounds good - but it isn't!
Next to the quite stylish "Water Cedar Lime," my second Korres conquest this year was "Vetiver Root Green Tea Cedarwood." Blindly and on the spot based on the pleasant-sounding name. And what sounds like a potpourri of some of my favorite fragrance notes turns out to be quite a flop. That's how it goes. You can wear it; no one says anything bad about it in the office, but there it only has to compete against deodorants, Boss Bottled, and the like. Otherwise, I was immensely disappointed.

No matter which of the three components in the name you focus on, the scent does not deliver. The anticipation is slapped in the face. And beyond that, it is synthetic, cheap, and cloying. Partially indefinable. There are no good transitions to speak of. It most closely resembles generic no-name body creams, but those are many times cheaper, even though Korres fragrances are already quite affordable. You can unfortunately tell that here. It is at best a creamy-fresh, inconspicuous tonka cracker, of which there are dozens (better) in the mainstream market. A hint of tea, vetiver, or cedar at most. Almost label fraud. They must have felt the need to put something on the packaging, but you can't really recognize anything amidst the confusing jumble. It's simply not enough. At least for standards above drugstore level. Sounds picky, but unfortunately, it's the truth. It seems to want to please everyone and in the end has as much recognition value as a tissue. And not a used one. Korres can surely do better than this. Even at a bargain price.

Bottle: it's somehow niche and minimally cool.
Sillage: quiet and gone quickly - 4 hours, if you're lucky.

Conclusion: with Korres and me, it's now 1:1, one (subtle) hit, one flop. This vetiver mishap is unfortunately just sweet, uneven slush. Can go.

Sprayable Fusel
When the perfumes from the Korres brand were released about 2 years ago, they were surely met with interest by many - the unusual naming, the modern yet not arbitrary design, it all had something. Price-wise, they were still in the mid-range segment, and niche shops like Ausliebezumduft included them in their assortment.

A nice start, but the picture has changed since then. Vetiver Root / Green Tea / Cedarwood costs only 35 € at ALZD (and elsewhere), making the Korres fragrances likely the cheapest perfumes available there. If anything, Korres generates revenue through volume, not price.

Honestly, it’s not worth more than 35 €. For that amount, you get a not entirely bad scent, but it is still very far from being a great work of art. What stands out immediately is the "scratchiness" that I perceive, which particularly characterizes the top note. I like to compare such a perfume to a cheap schnapps, which is known to scratch the throat. I've noticed this in many fragrances in the lower and mid-price segments - a particularly cheap ingredient must be responsible for this.

You have to wait a bit for the scent to settle. The scratchiness remains on the skin, so you shouldn't sniff this perfume too closely. Only in the projection does a pleasant image emerge after a while, and there is plenty of projection here. So be careful when spraying, or you'll leave a cloud behind you!

And this cloud is somewhat sweet, more bitter than woody, slightly soapy, and has a certain synthetic quality. There is an undeniable similarity to scents from the deodorant shelf (Axe and Co.), which is still acceptable in this price segment. People whose fragrance experiences are primarily shaped by cheap deodorants and shower gels will feel addressed here, and Korres seems to be made for them. I perceive a cedarwood note - if at all - only with imagination, not vetiver, and I envision green tea differently. The combination of cedarwood and vetiver naturally brings to mind a clone of the well-known Terre d'Hermès, but this is far from that direction. The ambitious naming of Vetiver Root / Green Tea / Cedarwood finds no correspondence in this perfume at all. Seen this way, it’s a first-class fraud - it’s your own fault if you buy it blindly!

Well, it can be worn, as long as you don’t overdo it. My opinion: Better to add 20 euros and buy something decent!

Yuk! No trace of any of the 3 notes in the name. Indefinable, sickly sweet mess. I've tried most Korres scents & this is the worst.

A blast of citrus, a hint of woods, planet tonka. The coat check at any corporate mixer on a Thursday.

A fresh, summery tea with bergamot, cardamom, and mossy lavender. I only catch a hint of sweet vetiver.

Actually a quite lovely, warm, slightly refined scent with a bright start and a Tonka-amber base. Where's the vetiver? Deep down inside.
