Seductive Green Fougere

The opening is a bit funky, a bit bothersome, just a tad too much thyme tickles my nose, and I almost feel like sneezing when the lavender is sprinkled on, too. But then, but then, but then! The evolution is absolutely gorgeous, and Sleight of Fern has won me over. I can't believe there are those floral heart notes in there, my nose just skips over them and goes directly to the base. The oakmoss and ouds dominate, but the scent is not overbearing or bitter or imposing. The blending is absolute perfection: my nostrils inhale, I close my eyes, and I can almost picture the fern leaves sprouting in a primordial forest, I rub them between my finger and thumb, and I can feel the dark, tiny spores on their underside. It doesn't project very strongly, but that only adds to its air of mystery. Beauty.

Stephanie created another masterpiece. You detect some of the Invasion Barbare DNA but it has a modern twist. Sensational scent. I sense a classic. ;)
