All Grown Up
I never would have thought that Mercedes-Benz made a fragrance line, never once! But the more I kept hearing about this line of "Club Black", I said, I have to look into this fragrance & do some research.
& what I found was everyone saying kind of the same thing about the "Club Black" version. & that it's the "best burnt vanilla based fragrances" or is "amazing dark vanilla fragrance". So considering I have plenty of scents right now to fit that profile, Mancera Aoud Vanille being my favorite right now, i figured i would go in another direction......
.
So like I always do, when they Zig, I Zag! & I went into looking at the Le Parfum version. & WOW! so pleasantly surprised!
This scent, I wasn't sure about at first spray, ITS STRONG! The top comes off Synthetic & slightly floral-spicy with like some citrus in the back. But after about 5-10mins, this scent slips into a VERY SOPHISTICATED leathery-floral scent with some spice in the back ground which im guessing is the Saffron. The Violet Leaf & Pachouli make it smell like a sweet floral leather & it's masculine! If I could describe this scent to anyone I'd say, "it's a man who KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS & HOW TO GET IT." This scent will make u smell like money! Could easily be a man's Signature Scent
.
I'd wear this, in any season. It's very versatile, in the sense you could wear this to work, out at a club, in a bar, on a date, & in the daily use. I would reserve it more for the night time. Just because how strong it is but hey, if you wear it to work, your not gonna need much. But that floral leather will make you smell like a total Alpha male! This is class & totally fun. Check it out & don't drive too fast

Sophisticated
This is a very interesting Parfum, a bright opening with a dry down similar to Ombré Leather or Rare Carbon but getting there is different than the aforementioned this takes a real twist from bright fresh to dark and woody with a some what leathery smell….but wait there is no leather listed! It has to be the combination of oud, Amber, patchouli and vetiver, just brilliant. I see this as an excellent cologne for a black leather jacket and a motorcycle man. But hey you could also rock this with a suit, probably best for evenings most of the year but I would avoid any hot days.

Mercedes C180 Kompressor, iridium silver, 4th hand, 168,000 km
Thanks to dear Don, I got my hands on samples of "Mercedes - Le Parfum"... I was very pleased about that. But actually, as an employee of Mercedes, I shouldn't be evaluating these fragrances due to "bias";-)! Nevertheless, let's give it a try! Scenting and ionization in our vehicles is becoming an increasingly important topic, even though it is still in its infancy. Anyway, it was first presented in the new S-Class two years ago. It smelled really good... but honestly, nobody really needs it;-)! The previous Mercedes fragrances also didn't really convince me, so I approached this one with skepticism.
Le Parfum starts off quite nicely, a fresh-fruity bergamot-mandarin mix with a good dose of pepper on top, which is pleasant and familiar. But they can write "Parfum" on it a hundred times and seemingly add Oud... it doesn't change the fact that this is a pure mainstream scent that finds its place next to the other MB fragrances... namely in Douglas. It's really not bad, but it honestly makes my feet want to fall asleep... simply because I've smelled it so many times already!
As it develops, it strongly reminds me of Bvlgari's Aqua and Amara. There, too, the synthetic maritime touch has been pressed in, and once again, yawn... because nothing, except for ammonia, I like less in fragrances than this shower gel freshness. Every second men's fragrance at Douglas/Müller smells like this... unfortunately.
Behind it, there is a minimal saffron note hidden, which makes the scent softer and creamier. After an hour, I can perceive woods and resins. This heart note can reconcile me for half an hour without significantly improving the overall result or impression. Nice... yes... nothing more, there are definitely better options for the price... I think of the refill of Sacred Wood or the Wood series from Dsquared. It goes in the direction of the Intense, even though it has received a bit of "Fahrenheit light".
Conclusion: It might be a fun gag to accompany a car purchase as a birthday or Christmas gift, but the scent itself doesn't convince me, just like the previous Mercedes fragrances. The longevity is okay at 5 hours, but it's rather the lower limit for an EDP. The sillage is average and can be placed in the range of Bvlgari fragrances. For me, it’s a disappointment, even though I didn't expect anything... but I admit, Don's 100% did give me a little hope... hmm...
If the perfume were a car, it would be a run-of-the-mill car in retirement silver, you see thousands of them on the streets, no one turns to look at the car, and it's now available for cheap....

Brown Leather Seats in the New A-Class - Star Deserved!
Mercedes makes incredibly stylish cars despite a slight snob & grandpa image. The perfumes have yet to keep up with that. With the new flagship Le Parfum, which I happily won in the Parfumo Facebook giveaway, that is supposed to change. So does Mercedes make the leap past the otherwise mediocre perfumes from other car brands? There are definitely higher hurdles...

Oh yes, Le Parfum has become a damn fine leather scent, comparable to Davidoff's Leather Blend. With this, the company with the star is almost entering a niche, as high-quality as the fragrance & especially the presentation are. Only the more expensive Ferrari line can somewhat compete in terms of car fragrances. A piece of jewelry & the opposite of Jaguar & Co. Since it is a leather scent, a comparison with & memories of Tuscan Leather is unavoidable, but it does not impose itself. It’s more like: with every space saga, you think of Star Wars, with every Ferrari victory in Formula 1 of Schumi & with every good dancer of Michael Jackson. These are simply the footprints that legends inevitably leave behind, which should not diminish new stars. And Le Parfum has the potential to become a small star in the fragrance sky.

Brown leather, an ozone-like raspberry undertone & a creamy synthetic (juniper?), which is minimally bothersome. A scent for men with class & certainly not a slim wallet. Initially, a bit of pepper sprinkled in & a good portion of oud everywhere - a brownish-deep scent is ready, more for autumn days & evenings. Deeper, woody scents seem to be experiencing a renaissance at the moment, mostly in brown color. However, I have the feeling that the new Ence Noir Extreme could soon place the early crown on this trend as a final point.

Bottle: Wow, from the extra-thick glass to the elegant leather packaging, the tire cap to the star under the bottle - it hardly gets better even in the niche!
Sillage: a hint of brown leather
Longevity: not an extremely long-lasting star - 7 hours.

Conclusion: the best Mercedes by far, sending a few small flaws from the fragrance Olympus of car dealership perfumes! Still enough horsepower to take off & earn praise! Thumbs up!

Could be a Signature...
Most of my collection actually comes from blind buys. Many of the fragrances simply don't give you the opportunity to test them in stores. Not even in duty-free at the airport. There, you mainly find just the current mainstream (with a few exceptions).
So Le Parfum also came to me as a blind buy. And in this case, it's once again a real hit. The balance of the ingredients in the fragrance composition is truly at niche level for me. The citrus opening remains well recognizable throughout the entire duration, later almost more as an Earl Grey tea note. I think that's great. Violet leaf and oud are so well woven in for me that I couldn't pick them out individually - maybe that's the leather component. Patchouli, vetiver, and cedar create a very nice woody overall composition. All together, simply very elegant, masculine - it just has class. It fits just as well with a suit as it does with a stylish leather jacket.
I catch myself wearing the fragrance almost daily now that it's getting a bit cooler. It's developing into (almost) my signature scent. Let's see if it makes it.

Sweetish leather with slightly fruity-berry undertone and synthetic fresh (violet)-note. Not so original, but otherwise quite ok.

▼ Was a scrubber for me but I spray it on my fabric couch and fantasize it being a leather one. Warning: must like violet. Floral/cloying.

Fahrenheit - TF Ombre Leather - TF Tuscan leather all mixed together to varying degrees in a bottle. That's what I get from this.

50% Fahrenheit, 40% Ombre Leather, 10% Calone freshness. Unfortunately, somewhat light in character. Top on fabric, difficult on skin.

I don't think I've ever had such low expectations for a perfume and been so pleasantly surprised - it's wonderful!

A blend of Ombre Leather and Millesime Imperial. For a designer, it's top-notch and the price/quality is right. Sporty, elegant like a C-Class.

Typical raspberry leather scent, oud barely noticeable, more refined than Kolmaz but not as long-lasting and potent as La Yuqawam.

Standoff: Beezy pulls from the leather harness and fires cedar balls. In the air, the sweet scent of victory. Ombre Leather - loved it.

Beautiful leather meets fruit, wood, and pleasant spice. A nice and not too heavy scent, affordable with good performance.

Light and airy mix of Fahrenheit/Tuscan Leather. Less punch than expected, but definitely suitable for the office. Performance is okay.
