Fresh floral juniper, very easy to like
Molton Brown Juniper Jazz is the latest winter special release from late 2020, following Bizarre Brandy (which made a return) from the year before. Juniper Jazz is a fresh juniper scent with minty, sweet, and woody undertones. Not earth-shattering by any means but very pleasant and agreeable in a unisex / year-round-friendly sort of way, a very balanced and somewhat interesting fragrance, something anyone could like, though for me it’s a “like” not a “love,” not because I couldn’t easily wear it every day but because it lacks a certain special quality.
As far as I can tell, it’s currently sold out in most typical points of sale (house website, Saks Fifth Avenue, Blue Mercury) but I believe it was priced at $120 for 100ml in EDT concentration, which I regard as reasonable, as with most of the line, and if I had to guess, I’d say that it will be making a return next winter (northern hemisphere) in late 2021.
