Evidence of a fine fragrance
The original "Comme une évidence" is a pretty hard act to follow for me: too soapy, too sour, not a proper chypre (although marketed as one). Enter "Comme une évidence INTENSE": also created by the great Annick Ménardo, the new (2013) "intense" version came as an unexpected and pleasant surprise. It begins with a praliné note and then moves on to a fresh, green flowery combo of rose and jasmine. These two achieve a mountain-air freshness and luminosity I couldn't detect in the original version. The base is slightly woody, and there is a whack of greenery somewhere in the background. The contrast between "praliné" and "greenery" creates a sharp and assertive difference to many other mass-market perfumes. A fine low-key chypre at a very reasonnable price.

Yesterday I was looking for a Gebby Rose for my girlfriend.
tomorrow she celebrates her cradle festival - and I like to give away roses in a pot - or scents in a bottle.
However, a rose can combine beauty and fragrance.
So I let my eyes and nose wander over the roses on offer in the garden centre, and took some thorn scratches.
But sacrifices must be made.
I then lingered at the white rose crystal bead that lives up to its name.
A milky white - combined with a bitter, elegant rose fragrance.
Very special and expressive.
In addition a box of finest Leonidas chocolates - and the gift is perfect.
I also find this fine rose praline combination in the Yves Rocher fragrance.
Despite its elegant statement, Intense remains soft and cuddly.
A good night out - but no conspicuous scent.
Although intense, it retains its transparent character.
You are greeted opulently but easily by roses and delicate chocolate.
A skilful creation by Rocher, which is well suited for giving as a present - but also for keeping yourself

Comme une evidence intense
This fragrance is a flanker to the popular Comme and evidence. I have worn this fragrance for many years and love it. So it was obvious to add this flanker to my collection as a blind purchase. Especially the chocolate attracted me. Rose and praline in combination sounds like a successful birthday present and so I gave it to myself. But unfortunately it is only a tiny little sugar-free diet praline that has lost a huge bouquet of roses and lilies. The bouquet of flowers is so dominant that it trumps everything else

Rose tendrils in the sun
I have the fall blues. Unfortunately, this always happens to me when the days get darker and it's wet and cold outside. It's the season for sweet, warm fragrances - or so I thought. But the fragrance assistant suggested this perfume to me, "for an afternoon in the fall". Something new, I thought. This fragrance conjures up images of my parents' patio in my mind's eye. The sun is shining, butterflies are flying around. I'm sitting on the swing next to my mom, my head on her shoulder. I breathe in deeply the scent of fresh, sweet roses. Is it her cream? I don't know - she has told me on request that she has never worn this perfume. But I associate it with her. With warmth, with home. I find the rose dominant, sometimes it gives me a headache. But just today, this rose envelops me wonderfully, fresh-floral-soapy-sweet. And surprisingly good for autumn blues.
