Interesting Facts
The fragrance Pino Silvestre was created in the 1950s by the company of Vidal and can been seen as one of the classical italian scent creations by today. The company Vidal was founded by brothers Lino, Renzo and Mario Vidal and produced several fragrances and toiletries until the early 80s. Out of these, Pino Silvestre stood out as a very beloved product. In 1981 Vidal was sold to Henkel, which produced the scent till 1986. In 1986 the rights for Pino Silvestre were bought back from Massimo Vidal, the son of Renzo, who founded his own company Mavive by now. The scent is still produced today under family management. Several ads from the 50s-70s allow interpretation that Pino Silvestre - depending on which way you look at it - was originally or belatedly intended to be marketed for women as well, so the scent is attributed more of an unisex character. There are indeed some advertisements which attribute it to women as well.

... unfortunately, I don't have any access to this fragrance. But I can't find anything exciting about this perfume. For me, it's a fragrance for a quick trip to the bakery or kiosk.
