A scent that stuck in my brain and haunted me, very mesmerizing. I don't know why someone classified it as female, because it is not - unisex, yes. Harem evening / Evening in the harem is strong, dark and salty amber combined with the resin of myrrh, a bit incense. Added to this was a pinch of short-sounding (thank goodness) pungent rose, which is essentially a metallic rose. At some point this metallic note started to remind me of steel, sharp, surgical (scalpel?) - and I started to have associations with Blood Concept AB, but ONLY associations. As soon as we sense the slight scent of a rose ... it disappears so quickly, leaving behind a slight hint of metallicity, and mainly myrrh begins to dominate, a beautiful and strong scent of healing resins with the addition of the above-mentioned. ambergris. Ambra here not sweet, but salty ... as if it lay after many hours on the beach, thrown by the waves and all the salt water evaporated from it under the influence of the sun, leaving only salt crystals on it (I do not know how they did it) .. .. while the sun is already setting and the air temperature is no longer too high. I also smell some spices, but with such a strong smell of myrrh, I can't tell what.
I perceive the fragrance as very sexy, mysterious and mesmerizing. I recommend .... women and men. A real gem.
The durability is very long.

Harem Soirée: A Velvet Rose Enshrouded in Smoky Incense and Amber Mystique

A harem night or shall i say a gossiping evening in an Andalusian palace by some beautiful women.

This fragrance open as a balsamic and vinegar-like explosion of patchouli with a sour and musty taste accompanied by a large amount of menthol (it gives the vibes of the warming gel used by athletes).
A perfume with an explosive start and a very charming progression.

If it weren't for this patchouli, what kind of world would perfumers really be in.

Harem soirée evokes an Arabian atmosphere, rich with firelight and myrrh.
The moist and heavy smell of rose petals on a glass of wine.
The perfume. Formulated with very heavy molecules. The play of the olfactory pyramid in this perfume progresses slowly.
The heart of the perfume feels slightly sweet with an earthy and musty patchouli, and the natural salty ambergris although there is nothing really marine, the scent takes on an almost very special salty mineral and resin accords display a strange charm.

A very beautiful point is the role played by the rose. You can feel the scent in the corners, but it does not play a central role.
The rose scent is very delicate and moist and does not create a harem feeling at all.
That is, I fell in love with the patchouli scent with a green, earthy, and moldy base in this perfume.
The smell of straw and hay like mold + ambergris + rose is very reminiscent of Jove's psychedelic scent. But the details are different. Psycho is much sweeter.
Harem Night creates a dirty and deep patchouli + ambergris that I don't feel much, it creates a slightly salty feeling.
The drydown of the perfume, while maintaining the original atmosphere, adds a resinous state of myrrh.
This scent is liqueur, salty, balsamic, sticky, dense, dark, intense.
The quality is extremely excellent and amazing
The performance is excellent.

God, I love this perfume.
There are only 3 notes listed, but somehow this fragrance manages to be everything - warm, rich, and resinous, a little spicy, a little sweet, with a sensual rose undergirding the myrrh and ambergris. Grownup, sexy, and classy, I've found myself reaching for it over and over again throughout the winter. I'm not sure what I'll think about it in the heat of summer, but during the chillier months it's a definite go to.

I finally understand

I used to read "smells like coca-cola" reviews without understanding, because to my nose the smell of myrrh is nowhere near the smell of a can of soda. But with this perfume, I finally understand. Perhaps the salty ambergris is combining with sweet myrrh to create this impression... Who knows. Because the rose, which in my opinion has nothing to do here, smells rotten so the promising perfume it could have been on paper turns sour immediately out of the atomizer (and yes, I tried it on a paper strip and on my skin).

Just not for me, I guess !

Today on Offer: Harem Lady Fresh from the Smoke!

A harem is a secluded area within a house reserved for women. A soirée is an evening event in the bourgeois, upper-class society.

Now I could be pedantic and claim that the women of a household gathered in a closed area of their residence with the women of another friendly family to practice children's songs together and exchange the latest cooking recipes.

Marketing a perfume with this fantastic background might not be entirely easy. Therefore, Arte Profumi is likely to rely more on the fantasies and myths surrounding an Ottoman harem in the minds of many Europeans - that is, a bunch of half-naked, lascivious, seductive women ready for love services in a private evening gathering. This is a much stronger selling point.

Sex sells. Well then …

At first, I thought I had grabbed the wrong tester. A huge cloud of incense hit me right in the face. A glance at the label dispelled any doubt - Harem Soirée.

What came towards me felt little oriental, rather like a full blast of incense of the Roman Catholic kind. Arte Profumi is also from Italy. If I should be wrong about the incense classification, please forgive me. I am with the competition.

What is this scent supposed to express? A harem in the bishop's palace? - Interesting line of thought.

For the eroticism and the feminine aspect, the perfume offers a bit of rose: intensely perceptible now and then through the much too strong incense fog, a brief hint like in Fate Woman, but not really beautiful. I had expected better from a “Harem Soirée.”

Incense, amber, and myrrh exist in many compositions and can be more pleasant. In my opinion, Amouage processes such ingredients more elegantly. Even Jubilation 25 Woman, which certainly does not skimp on incense, comes across as more bearable for me.

Those who can endure Fumoir will also manage with Harem Soirée. For everyone else, this is likely to be a short night.
