No one make gourmands like Italians do...
Hilde Soliani, Profumo di Firenze, Trussardi, Profvmvm Roma, Il Prvfumo, Giardini di Toscana... Is there anything better then gourmands from this perfume houses? I love italian esthetics, bottles, fragrances... But in the world of gourmands, there's also one name to follow and cherish - Enrico Buccella.
Cream is one of his beautiful perfumes, gaining traction on TikTok, as well as his other creations. And for a million good reasons! Enrico Buccella signs more gourmand fragrances made exclusively for italian Amrys Essenze under the name "Cherchi Nell'Aqua" (circles on water) like Marshmallow, Birthday Cake, Zucchero Filato, Peau d'Ange, Latte e Biscotti etc). The philosophy behind this line of fragrances is that there's no base, heart or top notes. Accords surround you like circles on water surface, emanating in harmony from the moment you apply fragrance 'till the end.
Cream is no different: elusively simplistic in it's olfactory "recipe", it gives out a more complex, comforting and synesthetic experience. Very citrusy in the opening, zesty and realistic, it soon becomes the most buttery, thick and airy gourmand, so hard to find. Cream is a fragrance that blends with your skin and not just evaporates from it's surface, it's a perfect skin scent imitating perfume.
With custard accord and buttery nuance, it gives an impression of a clean, sweet and groomed skin without much effort. It's just so natural. It's a nostalgic, feel good scent, it's cozy, reminiscent of home, good times, love but also sexy enough to wear on a date or in bed.
Nothing too sweet, cloying or too "parfumey", Cream is a heavenly gourmand fragrance that will, without a doubt, become every gourmand fan favorite go-to scent. Just perfect.

Who is creamy?
Cream… with a fragrance that is simply called Cream, one thinks of a scent that is indeed creamy, mu ha ha ha, that's just how it is! :D

I mean, what is creamy anyway?
Women? Hm… yes,… somehow that’s true, if you imagine them gentle, soft, delicious, creamy, and all that stuff, but I won’t go into that further, as I would, as usual, get too carried away *sigh* But that’s still better than if I complained about you all the time, right? :D

Otherwise… Creamy foods? Crème Fraîche? Or pudding? … PUDDING!!! Oooh, how I love pudding! Unfortunately, I’ve gained a bit of weight lately (mainly from endlessly devouring ice cream during the heatwave weeks), so pudding is currently out of the question *sigh* But still, pudding is nice and creamy, depending on what you eat! Man, now I really want pudding!!

Alright, what else is there? Body cream! Soft, moisturizing cream, preferably smeared on the gentle, soft skin of a woman and… see!!! There you have it! And I’m getting carried away again because of you silly women! So I’ll stop here and get straight to the fragrance! :D
Let’s ignore the fact that I can’t think of anything else to write in the introduction… except for more nonsense!

The fragrance:
At the beginning, I smell citrus notes and especially a pastry-like note (among other things due to the intense vanilla). It smells either like cake with lemon icing or cookies with lemon (or orange) filling.
The vanilla fades a bit into the background later, as the citrus notes in the heart note, especially the lemon, become quite strong. However, this strong citrus note soon starts to bother me, as it doesn’t smell as nice as in typical citrus fragrances, but… well, that’s difficult to describe… it smells too much like a baking ingredient, like those baking aromas or something… so it’s not repulsive, but rather one-dimensional, as if you’re not smelling a perfume but an ingredient. Some people mention cleaning products here… well, it doesn’t smell that extreme to me like chemical ingredients, but this note isn’t really pleasant, or rather, something is simply missing to make the fragrance more beautiful and exciting.
Only after a while does the vanilla come back and makes the fragrance both sweeter and more powdery. This makes the fragrance a bit more pleasant, although the lemon still flashes stronger from time to time. A little later, the fragrance does smell better, but still far from as good as other gourmand fragrances that smell like cake or cookies.

The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is above average. Up to medium distances, meaning that if you are in the same (small) room, the fragrance should be noticeable for a while.
The longevity is over twelve hours, which is very good.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular, somewhat narrow and tall, and has a label with the name and logo on the front. The cap is black and cylindrical. There also seems to be a variant where the rectangular bottle is slightly larger, the label simpler (without logo), but still with a black ribbon. Both bottles are nothing spectacular, but still okay.

Well, despite my love for citrus fragrances, I find this scent rather mediocre. It starts off well, as it initially smells like delicious cake, but then the lemon becomes so strong that it becomes unpleasant because this scent note has something about it that I don’t really like. Or in other words, something beautiful is missing here to make the fragrance simply better. Because for the most part, it feels like I’m just sniffing a lemon baking aroma, especially in the middle part. The fragrance does get slightly better towards the base, but still remains just average for me.

No, there are better cakes and cookies… uh, I meant of course cake and cookie scents! :D (For example "Vanilla," here from the same brand!)
You can easily skip this one when it comes to testing. And it doesn’t really awaken any cravings in me either; otherwise, my mouth would surely be watering, as sometimes happens with better-made fragrances :D Apart from that, I would just keep writing delicious delicious delicious. But no, not this time!

Well, as I said, it’s not worth testing; for those who still like it, I think the fragrance is more suitable for autumn, as it might come off a bit heavy in summer.

A blend of "Vani Choc," "Cookiecrunch," "Haecceitas," and Mr. Clean - only distinguishable by trained noses - still good!

Citrusy-orange opening, then soft and vanilla. Reminds me a bit of Ligea la Sirena, but sweeter. Gourmand? Not for me.

Lemon powder; I don't smell vanilla, nothing gourmand, maybe just a tiny hint of something chocolatey, but just a whiff, perhaps.
