A minute of pure bitter almond baking aroma, then hardly noticeable. Just a hint of almond powder, which I don't like either.

I agree with the previous speaker - it doesn't last long and isn't overpowering. Great for layering when you've gone a bit overboard with fruit, wood, or floral notes.
