Fresh, Fruity

In my search to escape the sweet, sticky Christmas season, I looked for a perfume that is fruity, fresh, green, yet still feminine. So I tried out various price ranges.
In Mexx Mexx pure, I found exactly that; the vanilla and sandalwood give it depth, but the freshness remains.
Perfect for a snowball fight in the cold but sunny winter world after a lavish feast.
This makes waiting for spring fun.

Addendum:
Unfortunately, I now have to reapply several times to even perceive the scent. What a shame, it would be so good.

First TOP, then FLOPP

That was the sentence with X, double X, so to speak.

The scent initially attracted me. It is nothing special and quite simple, but still it felt fresh, young, cheerful, energetic, green, lightly citrusy but not too much of it... as if it had rained on a spring morning, leaves and flowers are wet, you jog motivated through the damp, cool forest... that’s how the scent smells and feels to me, and that’s why I wanted it. For the time on the bus before and after sports.

Unfortunately, it turns into the opposite on MY skin and smells piercing after a few minutes, like old sweat that has been covered up with a nasty deodorant. The absolute opposite of what I wanted. Alcoholic, piercing, musty... simply terrible. This has never happened to me before. It must be due to me, my skin chemistry?!

Used as an air freshener, sprayed on bedding, sofa, or shower curtain, the scent remained true to its first impression. So I still got something out of my bad purchase.

I therefore recommend letting at least 30 minutes pass between testing and buying.

Sporty but Feminine

I'm not a fan of heavy, cloying, sugary scents and always look for sporty yet feminine fragrances. Here with Mexx Pure, I found what I was looking for. A fresh top note, before it transitions into floral. But even here, the freshness dominates. The base note then has a successful finish of sandalwood and vanilla, with the sandalwood being more prominent for me. Vanilla is only perceptible in traces. Longevity for me is 6 hours.
