Number 1 fragrance for women in GCC
Im leaving in UAE since few years now.
This perfume is the essence of the sexiness Arabic women.
It is so potent and incredibly attractive.
You will have this fragrance "in the face'' but it is not outrageous.
It is mysterious, luxury, elegant and kind of authoritarian.
I love when my wife is wearing it.

This is a millionaire smell. You'll impress a lot by wearing it, the silage is for ever.
One of my favorite fragance.

"The essence of femininity is captured in this scent, combining Eastern and Western aromas. The lasting base of seductive musk and wild rose will bring back nostalgic memories of romantic histories, while the soft top notes of peach and fruit blossom capture the joy of confident women today. With an elegant and sultry allure, feel irresistible while wearing Madawi." - a note from the brand

Typically Arabic
With Typically Arabic, I have a connection to hospitality.
Many Arabs I have met in fragrance shops have approached me with an open, generous manner. They offer tea and tranquility, sharing what excites them.
Madawi can also be categorized as such a fragrance.

At the beginning, sweet peach with blossoms creates a familiar atmosphere in the mind.
Everyone has probably bitten into a juicy, ripe peach and surrendered to that pleasure.
It has a sense of familiarity, yet also that Arabic perfume effect.
Hard to describe. Because it's so typical.
It has something oily, soapy.
The base remains rather in the background, while the fertility of the blossoms is clearly in the foreground.
Here, a clear product is created with just a few ingredients.
A wonderful fragrance, more for women, from all over the world.
For me, it's a reason to travel to the Orient again.

Peach Blossom Cream Carried by a Musk Cloud
I was surprised to read here in the comments that "Madawi (Eau de Parfum) | Arabian Oud / العربية للعود" is a cuddly scent! I bought it in Dubai at Arabian Oud and immediately perceived it as a fresh, very long-lasting pineapple-musk fragrance, which is perfect for hot days because of these properties. Once back in Germany, I unpacked it, smelled it again, and didn't wear it even once! It was simply too strong for me in the musk and fruit notes.

Now, based on the descriptions of other perfume lovers, I am giving it another try. I spray the scent on my arm - not too close, so it doesn't become too intense again - and indeed: I perceive this creamy richness of the fruits (peach and pineapple), with only a slight sweetness! Nevertheless, the musk continues to dominate with its oriental uniqueness. Since the scent reminds me of "Erba Pura | XerJoff," it easily comes across as unisex for me. The perfume is incredibly long-lasting and has a very strong sillage that lasts all day.

It is autumn, so I will give Madawi the chance to hopefully present itself to me as a cuddly scent as well.

Fragrance for ladies and gentlemen...and everyone in between and outside.
Well, I’m not a professional, more of a complete novice in the “fragrance scene.” I’ve been reading here for a while and am always blown away by the beautiful descriptions in brilliant words about the scents I can read, fitting perfectly with what I’m currently sniffing on myself.

But I have to chime in here and try my luck, so please be kind to me!

Madawi by Arabian Oud is truly something special. If anyone thinks this fragrance is only for women, they are definitely mistaken! According to the list here on Perfumo, 3/4 of men own this scent - so, flowers are probably not just for girls, right?
The fragrance opens with a really fruity blend of peach and something slightly green and also sour for my untrained nose, maybe it’s the apple, I can’t say for sure. Everyone has bitten into a slightly overripe peach at some point, one that gives way softly when you bite into it and then the juice runs down your chin. It smells so delicious that you almost want to take a bite. Then comes the heart note with rose and jasmine. It’s like a walk through a summer garden, where everyone is welcome, whether they like flowers or not.

And then the base note: musk and patchouli. This gives it a really nice depth and warmth like being in your mother’s arms after you’ve been away for a long time. It’s as if the fragrance warmly embraces you and doesn’t want to let go anytime soon, because this composition lasts all day. And meanwhile, Madawi whispers in your ear...“Hey, I’m here for YOU!”

So, whether you’re a man who is open to new things and wants to try, or a woman who doesn’t want typical floral scents - Madawi is your new best friend. Or girlfriend. Or whatever. The main thing is, you feel good about it! Be free, live your life, and enjoy!!

The one I didn’t even know I needed..
Floral or fruity scents are actually not my thing. I prefer gourmand-sweet, like fresh pastries and desserts. That’s my thing. Heavy, sweet, enveloping.
Floral scents are usually too delicate and fleeting for me, and fruity ones often don’t smell “natural” enough, but rather like lab concoctions. Most of the time, they simply lack tension, no edges or corners. I’ll keep it short: Madawi is different.

I find it really hard to describe the scent clearly. Either it’s because I’m still completely over the moon or because the notes are so skillfully blended that they flow into each other seamlessly without any jarring notes. I suspect it’s a mix of both.

In the opening, Madawi makes quite an impression. I can immediately perceive both peach and apple blossom. For a floral and fruity scent, Madawi is also quite loud. It projects well right from the start, yet remains pleasant. The wild rose joins in quite quickly, in my opinion, after about 30 minutes, and I actually feel like I’m sticking my nose directly into a deep pink wild rose bloom on a warm day. I love this scent. Captivating and engaging. Feminine and soft. The note remains present for me throughout the entire duration.
Patchouli gradually adds a touch of tension, this slight spiciness to the fine fruity floral. However, the scent is not overly spicy; it simply gains more depth.
Musk makes the scent fluffy-soft and clean.
Honestly, I must also admit: I have no idea what pineapple blossom smells like…

Madawi is my big exception among fruity and floral scents. It brings a certain mystique, feels incredibly luxuriously clean, floral-fresh, and yet slightly sweet, never artificial, cheap, or chemical, which I often dislike. Over time and on warm skin, it becomes really creamy. I somehow thought it might be too heavy for warm days. That’s not the case! However, since it has a strong presence, you need to dose it accordingly.
Arabian Oud-like are H&S 11/10, an absolute beast. One spray is enough, and it penetrates the sweater and fills the room. So it IS my thing! And with such a scent? Unexpected.
The bottle is a hit, the packaging is noble; I believe Arabic scents will forever remain my personal highlight.
I think I might weaken here again….
