Amiri Arabian Oud 2020

Amiri is truly a “habibi” scent.
I gave it to a friend to try, together with aventus. He loved amiri more, and Said: while they are both so amazing, and masculine, the amiri is the kind of scent that says: do you dare to wear me, because i am special. And he is absolutely right.
Amiri is something Else than aventus yes, amiri is a summer gourmand and its not as linear as a fresh scent, in this example aventus.

It has edge, depth and charisma, truly an amazing fragrance, with okay performance, longevity is about 7-8 hours, and projection is 2 to 3 arms lenghts. (On me)
Others experience it maybe stronger and some not that strong even.

And then the presentation, i mean, Wow. Outer and inner boxes are so Well crafted, and the bottle is so heavy with the rugged metal on, and the pistol Sound it makes when you put the lid on.

Amiri is a Middle Eastern take on Freshie. This Fragrance is truly a masterpiece. It smells regal. The bottle and the package weights around 5 KG. This is a heavy bottle. Magnetic top. Everything about this fragrance from the bottle to the packaging to the smell is absolute Royal. Beware dont drop this bottle on your foot. You would end up with a fracture.

Silage on this is enormous. Room filling but not in your face. When you spray this everyone around you would smell you. Its silage and projection is so sophisticated.

As my subject line suggest this is PDM’s Percival but with a twist. Do not get me wrong the two fragrances do not smell the same but you can detect similarities in construction but with different ingredients. While I find that Percival is constructed around lavender Amiri is constructed around cedar wood/sandal wood which is uplifted by citruses. The fragrance is beautiful while fairly linear. Again comparing to Percival it is a more mature (read 30+) scent which can work at any season and situation.

This is what the bed sheets from Alladdin's palace smell like. A delectable and opulent fresher fragrance. The vanilla and citrus are detectable from the opening but after not too long cashmeran and beautiful nutmeg envelop the nostrils. This is impossible to dislike. It is linear, moderate performance and relatively expensive yet worth every cent and penny. It has a refreshing yet comforting effect which makes it very versatile. One of the best from the house and a higher tier signature scent. Imagine Prada Ll'homme and YSL Blue Electrique had a baby and that baby was left in a wicker basket like Moses and became a prince, this is that. Incredible quality and refinement. Ten. Blind buy safe.

It opens with a very beautiful note of tangerine, but there is something wrong when the opening notes disappear after an hour, a very dominant notes of woods and nutmeg that block your nose and it becomes very heavy and not tolerable at least to my nose.

It stays for days on fabrics.

I will try to apply 2-3 sprays only and will revert back if something changes.

Heavy, luxurious bottle and packaging is top notch as Arabian Oud house usually does,
