With Verve
Since I like to sink into the beautiful soft Ambre Delicieuse, I eagerly tried Vetiverve.
I wanted to plunge into this scent as well - but it felt like trying out my best friend's new waterbed.
Wow - I carelessly jumped onto the new resting place - and felt like I had landed on a rock.
He had filled it so tightly that I was painfully rubbing my back.
Vetiverve is not that hard - but it’s not exactly soft and yielding either.
I don’t perceive any freshness, but rather an earthiness that feels loose yet dull.
The vetiver is green, but dry and crumbly.
The myrrh adds further dryness - and the woods are knotted.
A cumbersome scent that goes at it with verve - just not in my direction.
If anything, it’s only a men’s fragrance - for pronounced loners - because Vetiverve is not very inviting.
