It is Evening in Winter...
... outside, the snowflakes are slowly and soothingly falling from the sky. I am sitting in front of the fireplace, looking into the flames, and have a black tea with cinnamon, cloves, and ginger with a lot of sugar in front of me. On the little table, there is an ashtray with a burning Havana cigar that spreads a sweet, warm tobacco scent. From the kitchen comes the aroma of warm vanilla crescents. The conifers lying next to the fireplace smell just like the musk that comes from somewhere.

When applying this fragrance, you get a Christmas tea scent that lingers. The tobacco joins in after a while. Soon, musk, vanilla, conifers, and tonka bean come into play. They do not overpower the tea scent. It is a beautiful, harmonious fragrance.

This fragrance is perfect for cozy evenings on cold days. It can be worn by both ladies and gentlemen. It is a wonderful scent.

The longevity and sillage are good.

For someone who enjoys warm scents with a certain spiciness and sweetness, this one is worth checking out.

Oh you joyful, oh you spicy..
Actually, I just wanted to write a short statement, but I guess I have to elaborate a little more.
I couldn't think of a better title, but it perfectly captures what it evokes in me when I smell it.

It is immediately clear which fragrance served as the model here - Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum.
However, here we get a somewhat richer version, a version that immediately reminds me of:
- Gingerbread spice.

The Habano Vanilla starts off with a smoky, powerful tobacco.
Then, a variety of spices emerge, making it initially difficult to pinpoint. Other users say that the clove eventually becomes dominant, which I also perceive.
I don't know what it is or why, but I get a slightly chocolatey undertone here..
..maybe my nose is just playing tricks on me and I'm simply craving fine chocolate wafer gingerbread.
In general, the fragrance is very purposeful in its selection of spices with a nice depth, whereas the model is broader in its spice palette but lacks depth.

Whether it is a dupe or an inspiration from Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum is up for others to judge, but I actually find this one better as it is more balanced.
Cheers

The Other Tom Ford TV
In the constant search for the nearly perfect tobacco scent, my favorites so far have been Herod, Tom Ford TV, and Naxos. Today, I had the opportunity to sniff this extraordinary fragrance from Olfatto.

A big thank you for that to Andin (Melina)!

This fragrance starts off loud with vanilla, cigar, and a lot of spices. Above all, I perceive clove. It is an Extrait De Parfum, and you can tell. Dominant, rich, and present.
After the drydown, tobacco and vanilla remain strong in the foreground, while the spices pull back (slightly). This remains the case for the next few hours. The projection is in the middle range and is not intrusive. Unlike some other fragrances, this one remains perceptible to me, even as it becomes finer and rounder.

I feel partially transported to Belgium, to the beautiful city of Bruges and there to "my" Jerry's Cigar Bar.
Then suddenly it smells like a sterile dentist's office.
You really can't call this fragrance boring, and I find it similar to TF Tobacco Vanille. In contrast to TV, which smells like pipe tobacco, this one clearly reminds me more of a fine Cuban cigar like my beloved Robusto from Cohiba, but with many more spices and vanilla.

I will continue to sniff and dream a little longer, but I fear that this fragrance will soon move in with me. Autumn is approaching, and it is perfect for that. Although labeled as a unisex fragrance, it tends more towards the masculine side, appealing to gentlemen who love sweeter oriental scents.
A feel-good fragrance, reminiscent of Christmas markets, for the long cold evenings.

Spicy Vanilla
My perfume sales associate kindly gave me the opportunity to test numerous Arte Olfattos - and Habano Vanilla deserves the "Arte" label.

The vanilla is finely spiced, with a slight sharpness that gently contours it.
Very distinctive.

The tobacco note softly joins in, making Habana all the more interesting.
A hint of woodiness surrounds the aromatic scent without weighing it down.

A likable fragrance - that pleasantly stands out among vanilla scents.

It conveys warmth and security without pretensions.

A small spray envelops me generously without being overwhelming.

"Arte" without any headaches, as Habana leaves no questions unanswered.

It’s easy to love it! Aromatic blend of woody tobacco and natural vanilla. Expected better stay but has still its nostalgic beauty.

Advent season. Cloves, cinnamon sticks, delicious mulled wine spices, and a few vanilla crescents. Often smelled like this. Here, the clove dominates.

The thick Habano smells great, along with a spicy vanilla liqueur-
that's how it goes. Nice tobacco scent, but without much
development.

Sweet monotony.
A Habano in my mouth

drunk on vanilla
yielding to gravity.
Next door, someone plays darts

This always scores points with me. Cloves, cinnamon, and I can still smell a hint of allspice, on sweet resinous vanilla.

Spicy resinous, dark vanilla scent, piquantly seasoned with ginger, clove + coriander. Tobacco adds edge, tonka sweetens. Christmassy.
